Dia Browser Invites Available
Hey y'all, I've got a bunch of Dia invites (500!) so if you're looking to try out an ai-powered browser, now is your moment! I know some people are loving Comet from Perplexity and Strawberr,y but I'm still loyal to my ride-or-die Dia, and just had a call with one of their team members, she's looking to get feedback from more women users, so if you try it out I'd love to hear what you think, what you'd change or improve, what's working and what's not, use cases, whatevs! All the feedback they can get helps inform a better product, obvi! So go ahead and try 'er out and let me know what you think. Def set up your personalization (similar to how you'd set up custom instructions in ChatGPT) and the create some skills or check out some of the skills in the gallery, I'm loving them!!

@Lauren deVane have you discussed anywhere your transition from arc to dia? i've gotten so used to seeing my bookmarks and all tabs on the side vs the top of my browser and have loved seeing those bookmarks because theyre an easy reminder vs having to actually click into a bookmarks folder

Zen browser as Arc alternative?
Has anyone tried the Zen browser? Came across this article touting is as an alternative to Arc: https://www.xda-developers.com/arc-browser-is-dead-found-its-perfect-replacement/

@Caroline Sumners you can also hide the sidebar so that it only appears when you hover on the side - click the sidebar button next to the close, minimize, maximize buttons
New Around Here
Hey everyone! I am new around here and just dipping my toes into the world of AI. I've seen some stuff in the past with AI creating color palettes and scanning them to meet accessibility standards. I tried this in ChatGPT and the results were kind of meh. So I realize I am the problem here ๐Ÿคฃ Anyone have any recs on which AI platform is best for this kind of thing or secret prompts to get epic results? Thanks in advance!

i would suggest either creating the color palettes in a design tool (if you have adobe then adobe illustrator or a free tool is canva). then the color palettes studio has a free color contrast checker. i donโ€™t know if iโ€™d fully trust a gpt/chat bot to give me the correct answer yet on something thatโ€™s sensitive like that but these are alternatives that adobe can make color palettes based off one color and then you upload those to the color palette studio site and she has built it so it does the work for you and tests all combinations of your color palette so itโ€™s kind of AI in a way
๐ŸŽจ Visual Electric Prompt GPT
Hello all ๐Ÿ‘‹ I played around and created my GPT that helps generate Visual Electric prompts. Those of you who use Chat GPT and VE can try it and let me know what worked/didn't work and what you think. ๐Ÿ’ก PRO TIP: It is also set up to be fed the VE image (it generated a prompt for) back and review it with suggestions for improvement. Have fun, digital artists! https://chatgpt.com/g/g-674f47b5e54c8191b56b35d1c14a1bb3-ve-prompt-magic

@Ry Zicka so we have this idea for a collab at my company for one of our brands to create a custom pasta and the only good reference was a tennis racquet which was cool but not the right vibe and no matter what prompt i gave midjourney or dalle i wasnt getting what i wanted so i uploaded the image along with this info "how would you prompt visual electric to make a pasta that instead of these tennis racquets its soccer balls instead but like just the line drawing of a soccer ball not a weird sphere shaped pasta" and the prompt it gave me was "A close-up of a pile of dry pasta shaped like soccer balls. Each pasta piece is flat, showcasing a clean, geometric line drawing of a traditional soccer ball pattern (hexagons and pentagons) on its surface, rather than a full sphere. The pasta is off-white in color and has precise, consistent shapes. The setting includes a clear glass bowl tipped over on a wooden countertop, with the soccer ball pasta spilling out naturally. Soft, diffused lighting emphasizes the texture and details of the pasta, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Photorealistic, high-detail rendering." attaching the original image and then the final one i upscaled

@Ry Zicka havenโ€™t showed it to my team yet but itโ€™s for one of our own brands so no real client - i work for a brand owner/management firm but they all know the struggle i was having earlier in the year when this idea first came up so im sure theyโ€™ll be excited about it and its more so just in a presentation for inspo
Arc news
Lauren got me hooked on using the Arc browser last year so I wanted to share this article that I came across - it seems like the browser company is done with any major updates to Arc and will just be keeping it as is going forward with only fixing bugs and not introducing anything new while they work on their next product launch - I'm intrigued at what it could be based on the video from them featured in the article. anyone else get addicted to Arc because of Lauren?

@Lauren deVane okay i watched it and i guess im with you like just confused and i guess will have to wait and see how dis works but there are things that i love so much about arc that itโ€™s hard to tell from the video if theyโ€™re bringing into dia. like the sidebar for tabs and my different spaces so i can separate work and personal but that would be great with this new layer of AI built into it. also interested to see how they plan to integrate it with microsoft products - like my work email is through outlook but their demo was just showing gmail so would dia even work between a mail app and the browser? or would i have to have outlook open in the browser and not the app?

@Zaynab Russell exactly how i feel after watching their video from yesterday! like i want some of those features but i love the features that i use in arc and never want to go back to tabs at the top of my browser or not having my separate spaces
