Hi my name is Jennifer, I’m from Temecula, Ca and I am completely new to Reiki. I would like to find like-minded people who are on a spiritual journey and would like to discover along side with me. I would also like to learn all about spirituality and the practice of Reiki and how it heals. I’ve always been spiritual but after my fiancé passed I started to question everything and it made me delve into every aspect of what it means to be spiritual, Mind, body and soul. A friend of mine recommended I should join this group as this might help me along my healing path. So here I am just anxious as to where to start. I’m hoping by being here I will learn many things. I was born and raised in a small town near Kansas City, Missouri. I have lived in San Diego for the past 28 years. I was 41 in the first photo, 51 in the 2nd. I have benefited from Reiki for about a year now. I am brand new on this journey to practicing Reiki. The Catalyst of my Spiritual Awakening, was when my oldest son, Derek, committed suicide on August 28th, 2023. Since then I have been on a Non-Stop Quest for information, truth, and healing my own trauma. My 73-year-old mother was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer just two weeks after my son transitioned. That is the reason why I have my head shaved in the second picture, to try and help make losing her hair a little easier. I want to make some new friends who are like-minded. I would also like to continue my healing journey. Ultimately, I would like to open a center that offers many different healing modalities, such as breath work, sound bath, light therapy, and opportunitiès for self-care, such as massage, mini makeovers, a decadent dessert bar, a reading Nook, Etc! I am a nature loving girl who loves to go camping or take road trips to see new places. I also love meeting new people, and San Diego has a very large and diverse community of people that is seemingly Limitless! I am so excited to begin this journey with all of you.
