Is it possible to offer a trial for the paid tiers in the fremium format? I know that coupons aren't an option yet... but I want to offer a month of the premium level at an event I am speaking at in September. Any tips? hacks? Work-arounds people have tried that work?

Last night, I officially moved the community to a freemium model (and this morning I posted an official WE’RE DOING IT video in the community) And less than 24 hours later, someone upgraded. What makes this one feel especially exciting is that this isn’t someone who’s been deeply embedded in my existing community or following everything I’ve been building for years. She saw what I was creating, saw the value, and said yes. For those of us building communities, I feel like that first paid yes hits differently. It’s one thing to believe there’s value in the room you’re creating. It’s another thing entirely when someone else sees it and chooses to invest in being part of it.
