Entertainment for Littles During Bookwork time
So far, this has been a really interesting and fun group. I have a question; does anyone else find it challenging to teach young children and preoccupy the others that cannot yet do independent bookwork and are waiting for their turn with mom? What are some tips out there? I set out puzzles and board games for them to experiment with on their own. They are getting bored and I’m not found if their attitude or short attention span after using screens even though they are using educational screen materials.

Stringing Beads
Stringing beads can be a fun fine motor activity for people of all ages. Tailor your beads and strings to match the child’s ability and tolerance for frustration. Younger children typically do best with large bead openings and stiff strings.

I saw this yesterday and tried it today with all of my kids during their break time between school (I rotated with tutoring each kid on their bookwork). It was a blast, dispite the beads all over the floor haha. Thanks for sharing something new for us to try.
