šŸŒž LIVE ON GOOD MORNING WASHINGTON | YOU SHOULD BE PROUD
I just wrapped a LIVE feature on Good Morning Washington, and I couldn’t wait to share this moment with you. The segment focused on Valentine’s Day and how poetry adds real value to expressing love—especially when people struggle to find the right words for their significant other. We talked about how poetry isn’t just romantic, it’s intentional communication, emotional clarity, and connection. And yes—I proudly represented and shouted out the Poetry Business Institute and Network on air. This moment matters. It’s proof that: - Poetry belongs in mainstream conversations - Creative work has real-world application - What we’re building in PBN is being seen, heard, and respected You should be proud—because this wasn’t just my moment. It was a reflection of the ecosystem we’re building together. Poetry as value. Poetry as language. Poetry as business. On morning television. Let’s keep going.

Welcome to the Poetry Business Institute (PBI) | (PLEASE READ ALL)
šŸ“Œ Welcome to the Poetry Business Institute (PBI). Whether you’re joining for the first time or you’ve been with us for a while, we’re glad you’re here. PBI is a global institution built for poets; created to educate, train, and equip poets to create income and build sustainable careers with clarity and confidence. You don’t need to rush. You don’t need to prove anything. You belong here at your own pace. šŸ›ļø What the Poetry Business Institute Is The Poetry Business Institute (PBI) is a global trade school and learning institution for poets. It exists because poets are the only creative group without a clear, shared infrastructure for turning their craft into sustainable careers. PBI was built to provide that structure. Inside the Institute: - Everyone enters as a Student Poet - Experience levels vary, posture stays the same - Growth is recognized quietly - Leadership is entrusted intentionally Poetry is the center. However, other creatives may join, because the information is transferable. šŸŒ How PBI Connects to the Poetry Business Network (PBN) The Poetry Business Network (PBN) is the broader global community and marketplace for poets. - PBI focuses on education, preparation, and skill-building - PBN focuses on connection, collaboration, and opportunity circulation All members—Free, Premium, and VIP—are encouraged to join, explore, and participate in the Network. šŸ‘‰ Learn more or join PBN at PoetryBusinessNetwork.com 🧭 How to Navigate the Institute (Important) This is an institution, not a social feed. Before posting widely, we encourage you to: - Read pinned posts - Browse categories - Observe how conversations happen here Exploration builds confidence and helps you ask meaningful questions when you’re ready. This guidance applies to all tiers. āœ… What to Do First (In Order) 1ļøāƒ£ Read this post fully You’re doing that now—great. 2ļøāƒ£ Introduce Yourself Post a written or recorded introduction so the community can meet you.

šŸŽ“ YOU’RE INVITED INTO THE NEW POETRY BUSINESS NETWORK
If you’re reading this, it’s because you’re part of the Poetry Business Institute—and that matters. Everything you’ve been learning in PBI is about preparation: - structure - professionalism - systems - readiness Now, we’re opening the door to the application side of that work. You are being personally invited into the Poetry Business Network (PBN)—not as spectators, but as early participants. 🧠 WHAT PBN IS (IN PLAIN TERMS) The Poetry Business Network is a creative media company. It is where: - opportunities are created and curated - poetry is applied in real-world contexts - creatives are featured, documented, and positioned - organizations and partners engage professionally This is not another community. This is where the work gets activated. šŸ” HOW PBI AND PBN WORK TOGETHER Think of it this way: PBI prepares you. PBN positions you. šŸŽÆ WHY YOU’RE BEING INVITED FIRST You’re not being invited because you’re curious. You’re being invited because you’re prepared. As a PBI member, you: - understand structure - respect process - know what professionalism looks like That’s exactly who this ecosystem is being built for. 🚪 WHAT THIS INVITATION GIVES YOU As an early PBI invitee, you will have: - priority access to Monthly Showcases - eligibility to be considered for Poet Life Unscripted - early visibility into how opportunities form and flow - a front-row seat to the build of a creative media company 🧩 A NOTE ON TIERS, ROLES & ACCESS The Poetry Business Network operates with three intentional tiers, each serving a specific role in the ecosystem: - Free – for observation, discovery, and public participation - Premier – for serious creatives ready to be considered for opportunities - VIP – for organizations, sponsors, and opportunity providers Important to know: Premium access in PBI includes automatic access to Premier in PBN. This means: - No separate upgrade is required - No duplicate payment - Your educational investment already positions you closer to application and opportunity

šŸ‘€ PBI Check-In: How’s Everyone Doing?
Family, We’re a little ways into the Poetry Business Institute launch, and I want to check the pulse of the community. šŸ”„ First, a HUGE congratulations to those of you who have already been: āœ… Completing lessons and modules āœ… Crushing the challenges āœ… Recording reels and short videos āœ… Documenting your process āœ… And most importantly — building your brands and businesses as a result! You’re proving what happens when poets take action. šŸ‘ For Those Who Haven’t Started Yet… I want to hear from you — what’s holding you back? - Time? - Confidence? - Not sure where to begin?Drop it in the comments so we can help get you moving. Remember: the longer you wait, the longer you delay your growth and opportunities. How to Track Your Progress šŸ“Š Did you know you can actually check off each lesson as you go? Here’s how ā¬‡ļø Above each video in the Classroom, you’ll see a small check mark icon labeled ā€œMark As Done.ā€ šŸ‘‰ Click that when you finish a lesson. šŸ‘‰ Your progress bar will update. šŸ‘‰ Everyone (including you) will see your growth displayed inside the course. This isn’t just for accountability — it’s proof to yourself and the network that you’re moving forward. šŸŽÆ Action Step Today 1. Go into the Classroom. 2. Complete your next lesson. 3. Hit ā€œMark As Done.ā€ 4. Post a quick reel or short video sharing your takeaway. Let’s keep pushing together. Every click, every lesson, every video brings you closer to your certification and your first $1K as a poetry business owner. Drop a comment if you’ve marked at least ONE lesson done already!

Was the classroom available before launch because I've been in the classroom. I'm not sure I have an excuse for the pace of momentum but when I think of all my talents and my family, my poetry business is the only thing I want to spend time on, especially now I've escaped the States. Now that I'm starting over, I'm not sure where to start again. It feels like my net just got more broad and opportunities just expanded even more. And maybe I feel odd because I haven't made a piece in a while that feels public. That's a false obstacle since the words are inside. I'm not sure if it would help to narrow down the ideal client group (organizations) I want to work with. The list is really big. I'm also wanting to craft something organic since I have hurt myself spending personal funds in business for some time.
