Understanding the Power of the Cross
The cross is more than a symbol—it is the very foundation of our faith. It represents sacrifice, redemption, love, and victory all at once. At the cross, Jesus gave everything. He took on the weight of sin, pain, and brokenness so that we could be made whole. What looked like defeat in the eyes of the world was actually the greatest victory in God’s plan. The power of the cross lies in what it accomplished. Through it, we are forgiven. Through it, we are restored. Through it, we are no longer defined by our past, but by God’s grace. Sometimes, we can become so familiar with the message of the cross that we forget its depth. It wasn’t just an event—it was a turning point for humanity. It opened the way for us to have a personal relationship with God. The cross also reminds us of God’s unconditional love. A love that chose sacrifice over comfort, forgiveness over judgment, and grace over condemnation. It shows us that no matter how far we’ve fallen, we are never beyond God’s reach. But the power of the cross doesn’t stop at salvation—it transforms how we live. It calls us to walk in humility, to forgive others, and to live with a heart that reflects Christ. Every day, we have the opportunity to live in the truth of what the cross has done for us—not in guilt, but in freedom.

Thank you Jesus! I await either your return, or for when you call me home.
🎶 Share a Worship Song That Moves You
Worship has a way of reaching places words cannot. A single song can bring peace, remind us of God’s faithfulness, or help us surrender what we’re carrying. Music often becomes a prayer when our own words fall short. 💛 Let’s share together: What worship song moves your heart right now? Is there a lyric that speaks deeply to you? When do you usually listen to it—during prayer, driving, or quiet time? 🎧 Drop the song title and artist in the comments below and share why it means something to you. Your song might be exactly what someone else in this community needs today. 🙏

"I speak Jesus" is my favorite worship song. It's because my daughter is gay and going to marry a woman. And my son and his girlfriend also do not believe in God.

Letting God Redefine Success
We often measure success by achievements, income, or recognition. But God’s definition of success looks very different. It’s not about how much we gain, but how faithfully we follow. Sometimes, what the world calls “success” can pull us away from what truly matters—our purpose, our peace, and our relationship with God. Letting God redefine success means trusting His plan over our own expectations. It means valuing obedience over outcomes and faith over results. When we surrender our version of success, we open the door to something deeper—true fulfillment that only comes from Him. ✨ Reflection: What does success look like in your life right now—and is it aligned with God’s purpose?

I obtained three degrees late in life. Masters was my most recent, and in 2019. I was hopeless to even find A job, let alone one using what I had learned for 8 years. I had found several jobs in my field, but none of them was I any good at; I lost every single one of them. I didn't give up, persay, but I took a temp job because I needed money just to pay my bills and pay for health insurance. I knew that God had a purpose and a plan. They saw in me "potential", so they hired me on. Three and a half years later, and I have been promoted. AND, the new VP told my supervisor today that he feels that my skills are under-utilized! God is MOVING for sure!
🕊️ Forgiveness as Spiritual Freedom ✨
Forgiveness is one of the hardest things we’re called to do—especially when the pain is deep and the wounds feel fresh. It’s natural to hold on, to protect ourselves, or to wait until the other person says sorry. But forgiveness isn’t about them—it’s about you and your freedom. When we choose not to forgive, we often carry the weight of anger, bitterness, and hurt. Over time, these emotions can quietly take root in our hearts and affect our peace, our relationships, and even our walk with God. But forgiveness breaks those chains. It doesn’t mean what happened was okay. It doesn’t mean you forget or allow yourself to be hurt again. It simply means you are choosing to release the burden and trust God with justice and healing. Jesus modeled this kind of forgiveness—offering grace even in the face of pain. And when we follow His example, we open the door to true spiritual freedom. Forgiveness is not a one-time feeling—it’s often a daily decision. Some days it’s easy, other days it’s not. But each time you choose to forgive, you choose peace over pain, healing over hurt, and freedom over bondage. Let go, and let God restore your heart. ✨ Reflection: Is there someone you need to forgive today so you can experience true freedom?

@Tina Wilson So true. The hardest part of forgiveness for me was to forgive someone who had thrown her life away to drugs, and she had attempted to pull me into her world as a means of supporting her addiction. I had ended our friendship. Recently, I wrote a note to her on Facebook, and even sent her a friend request. I let her know that I forgave her and that I was missing her as my friend. She never responded. The sad thing was that I had found out that she had passed away a year ago! So, my words of forgiveness were too late.Äş
👑 Leadership That Reflects Christ’s Heart ❤️
True leadership isn’t about position, power, or recognition—it’s about serving others with humility, love, and integrity. Jesus showed us that the greatest leaders are those who are willing to serve, not to be served. Leadership that reflects Christ’s heart is marked by compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to uplift others. It’s choosing grace over pride, listening over controlling, and guiding with wisdom rather than authority alone. It’s not always easy. Leading like Christ means making sacrifices, showing kindness even when it’s not returned, and staying faithful even when no one is watching. But when we lead this way, we don’t just influence people—we impact lives. Wherever you are—at work, at home, or in your community—you are called to lead with a heart like His. ✨ Reflection: In what ways can you lead with more love and humility today?

@Destiny Van Sittert I completely understand, and I'm right there with you. I believe that we can both benefit by lifting each other up in prayer. May God be an ever-present comfort to you in your everyday work life. And may He make this new transition in your life blessed.

@Kathy Pineda Thank you for reminding me that their anger and resentment stems from their own life difficulties. They just seem to take it out on us, which makes it difficult to lead by example. I keep praying for them, and have even shared God's word with them via stickers and calendar pages with Bible verses on them. How do you deal with the resentment? Because I am open to suggestions.
