Thanks for hosting, Oscar and Grace! Hope everyone’s holidays are merry and bright so far 🌟 I’ve been in housing and economic development for 2+ decades as a W2 via NFP and public sectors. Presently, I’m a W2 in the Dept. of Housing for the City of Chicago where I bring homeownership within reach for working families. I steward a $76M portfolio and support developers who leverage City programs by marketing their for-sale units to a network of NFPs which prepare working folks to purchase their first home. Now, I’m scaling my personal rental portfolio so it will sustain my daughter and I such that I no longer need to rely on the W2. I’m finishing up my first house-hack, a 4-plex in West Humboldt, and want to scale up with 3- and 4-plexes in West Humboldt and East Garfield Park via house-hacking and SubTo. Looking to flip some bungalows to build my reserves as well.
