Hematology Disorders Google Doc
Hey y'all I found a document that I made while studying for one of my hematology exams that includes notes about anemias, thalassemias, etc. Posting a link here bc it's a little long but maybe it can help someone. https://docs.google.com/document/d/12vkr-mwzMqOcVbenG09ixVD48dMc71ZmwLFFQ7Cc8kY/edit?usp=sharing

Where are you in your lab journey (Student? Graduated already?) 3. Which department is your biggest struggle? 4. Which department is your favorite? I’ll go first… My name is Marilyn, aka @marilynthescientist 👩🏾‍🔬 I’m a Clinical/Medical Laboratory Scientist with 10 years of experience in the field. 💉 I’ve worked everywhere—from tiny Critical Access Hospitals to busy Level 1 Trauma Centers. 🧳 6 of those years were spent traveling across the U.S. 🩸 Currently, I’m holding it down as a Blood Bank Supervisor in California. This space is here for us to learn, laugh, rant, and master the lab world together. Hi I'm Jennica! I'm currently a student going into my senior year of my MLS program. I'm planning on taking the BOC as soon as I graduate. So far I've only done my heme rotation and am starting the blood bank rotation in the fall. I've really liked heme and blood bank and I kinda don't see myself enjoying chem or micro but we'll see!
Anki Decks?
Do you guys use anki for studying or just hardcore use practice questions from LabCE/ASCP interactive? I want to use anki to use it on my phone but idk how to make good anki cards ( and the decks I found online are usually focused on Med Students 🥲). So if any of you guys know any good decks please lmk 🙏.

I haven't seen pre-made anki card decks for the ASCP but something I like to do is create cards based on questions I get wrong. I like the cloze card type for multiple choice questions. It can be a little tedious but it makes sure I don't get the same question wrong twice.
