2 markets I am liking so far, both in SC: Greenville and Bluffton. I also like Charlotte & Raleigh, NC...as well as Columbus, OH...Huntsville, AL looked good as well 😆...I really was hoping to find something in GA but I only researched Savannah and the job growth isn't the best.

Hello all ~ I'm a new member here. I've been trying to make a go of this for quite some time and just haven't crossed the finish line. Feel like a forever student! Can get mortgages but capital is my issue - no money for the DP & CC. I've heard of creative financing and seller financing but haven't been able to find one yet. I have a special needs son who will be out of the school system in 4 years so I need to leave my W2 and get that time freedom for him - and hopefully the financial freedom comes along with it!! I want a better life for myself and my family and being tied to a clock just isn't the way. I want to enjoy life! We're not getting any younger!! LOL I currently have an LTR in state and an STR OOS but they're in no way going to enable me to leave my W2. I'd like to get into the MF arena to hopefully scale and make this a full time situation because real estate truly is my passion. I've been spinning my wheels for a few years now and think I need to start with the smaller MF properties to get my feet wet, if you will. Favorite TV shows are Blue Bloods and Yellowstone. Forgot - I'm in NJ. Currently looking in the Carolinas and NH but quite honestly I've been all over the place (one of my problems).

I am so excited for this community! Woot woot!! It’s been Almost 6 years now. Daaaaaang!!! 😅 Honestly, if it wasn’t for Remote Multifamily Investing Academy, my life would look completely different today. 🚀 My real estate journey definitely did NOT start out smooth. At. ALL. It was actually pretty crazeee!! I tried real estate before and struggled to get through my first deal… and, more than once at that. This was my 4th shot at trying to do this and make the great escape from Corporate America! My journey looked a little different than most because I started remotely from California while investing in the Midwest. 💁🏾‍♀️ My very first flip? Whew… it was, and… still IS a STORY. If anyone ever wants to hear it, let me know because that one was definitely a wild ride and it’s juicy! Jen and Stacy Conkey came into my life at exactly the right time, and I became a Warrior of Wealth. Honestly, that changed everything for me. They helped me bring that first struggle-bus flip to completion taught me the value of buy and hold, and helped me do the hard things. They taught me what I didn’t know, kept me accountable, and honestly held my hand through the process when I needed it. Welp… very quickly after joining the academy, I think within my first 3 months or so… I CLOSED on a SIX property deal made up of five duplexes and one single-family residence!! 😳🔥 YEP. I did that. 🥳 At the time it felt HUGE… and honestly terrifying but it completely changed the trajectory of my life. And trust me… what happened during THAT deal is another story too, but let’s just say it all worked out. 🙌🏾 From there, things really started taking off. I started small, stayed consistent, kept learning, and have done many more deals since then. I’m excited to continue growing alongside all of you and sharing more of my journey along the way.
