@Brenna Fender hooray! I liked to challenge her a bit...
May BINGO Challenge Information Thread
The May Bingo Challenge starts today and will run through May 31, 2026. Check out the attached BINGO card and get started! Choose 5 spaces across, down, or diagonally, and complete each of the behaviors indicated with your canine companion. The described behaviors are meant for the dog, not the human, unless the handler is specifically mentioned :) When you've "crossed off" your 5 spaces (or 4 if you work in the "free" spot), submit to the designated thread videos or photos (as needed based on what the task is) showing your completed behaviors. You may also submit the behaviors as you go along and let me know when you've got BINGO. Include your dog's name and the behavior demonstrated in the video. You may choose to submit a copy of the Bingo card with spaces crossed off, but that is not required. Be sure to call BINGO when you finish it! I'll keep a list of those who complete Bingo, and I'll have a cute downloadable image for you to post on social media for each of you. Too easy? Go for BLACKOUT BINGO and complete EVERY SPACE! I'll have a special image for you to share if you BLACKOUT! One dog/handler team per Bingo card. You are welcome to play with more than one dog. Any questions? Post them in the comments. **HERE IS THE LINK TO THE MAY BINGO CHALLENGE SUBMISSION THREAD: https://www.skool.com/backyard-dog-training-matters-2491/may-bingo-challenge-submission-thread?p=d2ea303e

Question..... I am taking this bingo card with me to a dog club picnic.... I can see that we might do this as a big group and tick things off as we go... Is it possible for us to sign a "witness statement" or some such thing for them to send individually to you ? (We have some AKC/CPE judges in the group... meaning with "credentials" who could sign off). I could see quite a lot of confusion if we had to get individual videos.... We could certainly do group still shots... What do you think of this idea?

Thanks...I bet it would be each e one submitting... so we can be sure to take photos of each and direct them here(to you ) to submit. We think it could be fun to see every dogs effort
How was your weekend? BRAG HERE! :)
Did you do anything doggy this weekend? I didn't do anything official; on Saturday, I just worked on socializing my puppy by having some family drop by and watch him pretend to be a show dog :) On Sunday, I took the show on the road by taking him to my parents' house to check out their pool. I brought my Whippet, who used to do a lot of dock diving, and he did a bunch of jumping in. My Chihuahua, who is suffering from liver failure, wanted to come too, so he did as well. You can see a silly video I made from our visit at the link below. Tell us what you did this weekend! https://www.youtube.com/shorts/RBh4o-J1IFA

Sommer finished her AKC Beginner Novice title....2 2nd and 1 3rd place... and just like that.... we are into summer mode .. kayaking and working on freestyle skills till fall..... with nose work practice filling in the "cracks"...oh ! And maybe some rat- finding
It's the Weekend! Whatcha doin'?
My weekend isn't going to be super doggy, but I believe I have a conformation practice scheduled with a friend tomorrow. I think we are going to meet at a PetSmart and do some gaiting out front as well as inside. She owns his brother, and they will likely show against each other, so we want them to be ready to do their best and not distract each other. I'm also working on Fetch practice in my yard -- I'm trying to teach my dog Parker to go to the spot I'm directing him to in order to get the ball, even though there is another ball in another spot. At the same time, I'm working on forward focus in agility with him. I'm excited that he's finally getting the idea of running directly from tunnel to tunnel without checking in (I'm working at a distance and he'd like me to be closer). My goal is to be able to direct him at a distance in CPE Speedway. What are you up to? PS-I'm going to do a bingo game for the May challenge so get ready!

Sommer is chillin at the scent work trial....2 classes done, 2 q so far... debut in advance interior.... she took ALL the time she was allowed...1.98.98... cause there were kids to watch.... and maybe birds out the window
2 signs a day training
Sommer and I are working on "2 signs a day"... rally signs and rally freestyle element signs.... We can work outside currently in our breezeway (once I blow the pollen away) and I tried a new camera angle. It's very bright at either end so tried it this way instead... Here's one video of working "call front, two sidestep to right/ left". I break it down to also just work front... https://youtu.be/x9uncYEwNA8?feature=shared

@Brenna Fender depends on the judge....*i* would like the sit to be straight.... so that the correct spot is there for all of them.... she likes to do "things" , so she doesn't find this draining....I just need to give her the space to figure out how to move her bum..... hahahaha
