I have been testing something I felt a need to be me on Social Media. And talk about the things I love To rebel against my niche and just connect and have fun Do I have a massive following? No not yet but my views and engagement are up The trajectory is going up I did it originally to get followers up for vanity metrics because I like helping people on social media but had imposter syndrome about my follower count What I have really gotten out of it is, that when I am actually me on here Not my fucking Niche I am finally having fun Ideas come more easily Just by being me And talking about things I care about

Whatever social media you are posting on, make sure that you go in and update the apps about once a week. A lot of them won’t update for you. You have to actually go into the app, in the App Store.

Everyone teaches that their way is the only way that “this is how you sell, that is how you sell.” But there is something that is changing on social media and I’m kind of playing around with it. Social media does not want you to sell. They absolutely limit your reach if they think you are selling something so you have to be strategic. Selling is for the ads, the bio, the stories. Your feed content needs to be entertaining. Have fun with it. Be silly and live outside of your niche. If you feel like sharing something that is important to you. Do it! As Rachel Pederson says, consider yourself “specializing in your craft” instead of niching down and burning out. Happy Monday 💕
