@Jimmy Kreutzer it’s under utilized. Very helpful with the repetitive questions asked in here.
Questions
I have several questions. I thought I finally understood this material, until I started to put it all together today. First, how do we sell if we haven’t bought anything? Next, I’m using mobile trading view. It looks very different. I remember at one point Kyle said to switch between I hr, 5 min, etc at the top of the screen, not the bottom because it messes something up. But in mobile there isn’t an option at the top. Maybe I’m missing something, how do I set up trading view for mobile to work best with this system? I’m sure there are more questions, but those are the two plaguing me right now. TIA

Great questions — and honestly, this is exactly where most people hit that “wait… what?” moment when it all starts coming together. That’s a good sign. You’re not behind — you’re actually starting to think like a trader now. Let’s break both down clearly: 🔹 1. “How do we sell if we haven’t bought anything?” This is one of the biggest mindset shifts in trading. 👉 Short answer: You can sell first. That’s called shorting. Here’s how it works (simple version): - Buying (going long)→ You buy first → price goes up → you sell → profit - Selling (going short)→ You sell first → price goes down → you buy back → profit 💡 Real-world analogy: Think of it like borrowing something: 1. You borrow shares from the broker 2. You sell them immediately at current price 3. Price drops 4. You buy them back cheaper 5. Return them → keep the difference 🔑 Why this matters for the strategy: From the course: You’re identifying whether you should be long (buy) or short (sell) based on the higher timeframe plan area. 👉 That means: - If your long-term plan says price likely goes up → you buy - If it says price likely goes down → you sell (short) This is how you can make money in any market condition (up or down), which is one of the biggest advantages Kyle talks about. 👉 If this still feels fuzzy, I’d go rewatch this: https://www.skool.com/investceo-with-kyle-henris-4723/classroom/1a746cdf?md=9a46aefa91524676ba26324077909cf3 (That’s where he breaks down direction + edge in the model) 🔹 2. TradingView Mobile Setup Confusion Yeah — mobile is definitely different, and this trips a lot of people up. What Kyle meant (important): On desktop: - Switching timeframes from certain places can mess with indicators/settings On mobile: 👉 You don’t have that same “top vs bottom” issue in the same way ✅ Best way to use TradingView mobile for this system:
