Fighting for our Families - Draw the Circle
Congratulations guys we just finished the "Mark the Circle" book and I did I quick search on some of the themes that we studied. This has been a amazing opportunity to learn more about prayer and as Derek started with "Fight for our Family". Here are some of the themes. Overall Themes of Draw the Circle The book’s core themes center around deepening and expanding the reader’s prayer life over 40 days. Here are the major themes that run throughout the book: ✅ 1. Persistent, Bold Prayer - The central metaphor — drawing a circle — means committing to prayer and circling your requests with faith until God answers. It’s not symbolic magic; it’s a commitment to keep praying “as long as it takes.” ✅ 2. Prayer as a Lifestyle, Not a Last Resort - Prayer should become a consistent, daily rhythm — something we build into life as naturally as eating or sleeping. ✅ 3. Faith that Expects God to Move - Batterson encourages audacious faith — believing God for what seems impossible — and teaches that persistent faith can lead to spiritual breakthroughs. ✅ 4. Alignment with God’s Will - Prayer isn’t about insisting God do what we want, but discerning and aligning with God’s promises and purposes — prayer gets us into God’s presence so He can outline His agenda. ✅ 5. Stories & Real-Life Testimonies - Each of the 40 chapters combines a biblical or real story of answered prayer with practical insights and Scripture. These stories build faith by example. ✅ 6. Transformation Over Time - Prayer isn’t just a tool to change circumstances — it changes us. As we pray consistently, our faith deepens, our priorities shift, and we grow spiritually. ✅ 7. Community and Shared Faith - While many prayers are personal, Batterson also points to the power of praying with others — whether weekly or in corporate prayer circles — as a way to hold one another up in faith. 🌀 Bottom Line Draw the Circle challenges readers to push beyond casual or sporadic prayer into a life of determined prayer — circling the dreams, needs, and challenges of life with persistent faith. The final chapter reinforces that a deep, intentional prayer life can alter everything about how we live, lead, and relate to God.

Matthew 18:20 (ESV) “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
This morning we challenged this verse and with only three of us on the call, and you know what he was there among us reviewing Chapter 30. But that doesn’t mean that more of you shouldn’t also be there too. Be accountable as the group is starting to slowly get smaller and smaller. We only have 10 more days of this study to all commit one more time to support. So, don’t give up fighting for your family 2/3 into this study. Let’s go!! Praying and Hoping to see all of you again Monday?
