A Tale of Two Cards Tuesday! 📖: 10 of Swords and 3 of Cups
These two just went on a blind date. 10 of Swords thought it went great. 3 of Cups couldn't get out of there fast enough. What happened? What went wrong?

@Ronni Mulvaney @Rachael Crawford I'm enjoying this immensely, and have a next level for the question if you care to play along. Given that we have a cream puff with sprinkles personality, ( 3of cups ) andcwe're looking to play matchmaker... and that if we were pairing the food, then google says that " The best drinks to pair with a sweet, rich cream puff with sprinkles are those that cut through the fat and sweetness, such as a hot Americano, bitter coffee, iced tea, or champagn or sparkling water" Then Which card, or personality would be equal to the hot coffee, iced tea etc ? I know that's a big stretch, and mabe its too difficult to do it in reverse engineering format. But i was just curious.

My biggest win for the week are all of you! You make this group what is it. My original goal for this group was just to teach tarot but it didn’t quite feel right, I wasn’t very engaged and I wasn’t posting much even though I got a decent amount of members right away. But, then things shifted and I learned that community matters more to me and to most people. And then the learning just naturally happens. I got excited. I started showing up. You all started showing up! And we’re building something here. A little community that will grow and shine and educate! Yes, I have big goals for this group. But without you those goals mean absolutely nothing. When I started showing up 1 month ago, that’s it, 1 month! I really started showing up and committing every single day. Our little group was in position #1928 in the discovery for our category here on Skool. In just one month we’ve moved to position #495!! That’s insane!! Especially since we are a freemium group! I didn’t do that, you did! By being here every day with me! Hanging out, sharing, commenting, being vulnerable. I can’t thank you enough for being part of this journey with me. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

There will be another post from Rachael regarding the "match-up" - typically she will create a story or situation and then ask which card is best for that moment, asks for people to vote for their favorite and describe why they thought itvwas the best match for the situation. Its basically a clever learning tool to help reinforce and anchor what each card means disguised as wwwf fight match.
Reading tarot and oracle cards as living metaphors
You do not need years of study to work meaningfully with tarot or oracle cards. A practical approach is to treat every card as a living metaphor rather than a fixed symbol. This shifts the focus from memorizing definitions to engaging with the card as an active presence that reflects something happening in your inner or outer life. 1. See the card as a character or force Imagine the card as a figure with a role, a voice, and a purpose. Whether it is a person, an animal, an object, or an abstract image, treat it as something that is doing something rather than something that simply exists. This immediately brings the card to life and makes interpretation intuitive. 2. Identify the core action Ask yourself what the card is doing. Not what it means in a book, but what is visibly happening. A figure stands, waits, builds, breaks, protects, observes, or moves. A landscape expands, contracts, opens, or blocks. The action is the metaphor. It tells you what kind of movement or dynamic is present in your situation. 3. Translate the action into a human experience Once you see the action, connect it to a universal human process. Waiting becomes patience or hesitation. Building becomes commitment or effort. Breaking becomes release or disruption. This translation is the bridge between the image and your life. 4. Let context shape the nuance The same metaphor can shift depending on the question or situation. A protective figure can represent healthy boundaries in one reading and rigidity in another. You do not need to memorize variations. The context naturally adjusts the meaning. 5. Keep the interpretation short and functional A living metaphor does not require long analysis. One or two sentences are enough. Describe the action and the human process it reflects. This keeps the reading clear, direct, and adaptable. 6. Trust immediate associations Your first impression is often the most accurate because it arises from your intuitive pattern recognition. When you treat the card as a living metaphor, your mind automatically connects it to relevant experiences without needing formal study.

@Melissa Allison yes yes, i totally understand the need to feel drawn to a deck, and that there are fun ones out there. I saw a godfather Tarot deck recently and an Alice in Wonderland. Both were clever, but I couldn't see myself using either.
