This weekend, I took a road trip to Kalamazoo, Michigan, to attend a friend's wedding. 💍🥂 Unfortunately, what should have been a simple overnight hotel stay turned into an absolute nightmare! 💳 One Chase Sapphire Reserve perk I’m REALLY glad I used this weekend… I was supposed to go to Riot Fest this year, and I used my Chase Sapphire Reserve StubHub credit toward my ticket. First, can we talk about the anxiety of StubHub not actually releasing my ticket until THREE DAYS before the event?! 😅 I knew I had purchased it, but I was still sitting there wondering if I was actually going to have a ticket in time. Well… I got the ticket. And then I didn’t go. 😂 The weather was absolutely miserable. Tons of rain, tons of mud, they even shut the festival down early on Saturday, and by Sunday I was seeing people talking about how wet, muddy, and miserable they were. At that point I decided I was perfectly happy staying home. Sometimes we buy tickets months in advance thinking something is going to be an amazing time, and then the weekend arrives and you realize you’d rather lose the money than spend hours standing in the rain and mud. 😂 The silver lining? At least I didn’t pay full price for the ticket.
