Today’s Energy: Connection, Improvement, and Knowing What to Accept Wednesday, September 30, 2026 · Gate 18, Line 4 Today’s Human Design energy brings together two themes: connecting with people and noticing what could work better. Think of this as your daily energy weather. Just as the weather outside can affect your plans, the energy moving through the Human Design chart offers themes you may notice in yourself and others. In Human Design, a gate represents a particular theme. A line adds detail about how that theme may show up. Today, Gate 18 brings awareness to what needs improvement, while Line 4 brings that awareness into your connections with other people. You may feel more open to conversation, collaboration, or reaching out. At the same time, you may be more aware of a problem, an outdated habit, or something that could be done more effectively. Together, these themes invite you to consider: Who could help you move something forward, and what actually needs your attention? Line 4 reminds you that opportunities often grow through relationships. A conversation with someone you already know may lead to a helpful introduction, a new idea, or support you hadn’t considered. If you have been working on something alone and feeling stuck, consider reaching out. Someone else may have the skill, experience, or perspective that helps the next step become clear. This can also be a useful day to follow up with a client, send an email, arrange a meeting, or share an idea you have been preparing. If you are ready to ask for a raise or discuss a business opportunity, come prepared. Explain what you have contributed, what you are offering, and what you are asking for. A clear, practical request gives the other person something useful to consider. Let connection create an opening, and give yourself the time you need to make a clear decision. Gate 18 adds another layer: the ability to recognize what could improve. You might notice a process at work that wastes time, a routine at home that creates stress, or a habit that keeps bringing you the same result. You may also question a rule or expectation because you can see a better way.

To understand Human Design and the Gene Keys, you must first understand the planets used in astrology. Each planet represents a different part of life and affects the way your chart is interpreted. In the first course, Astrology Basics, you will learn what each planet represents, the qualities connected with it, how quickly it moves, and how its energy may affect a person’s life. This knowledge creates the foundation you need before moving into Human Design and, later, the Gene Keys.

Hey all, I decided to pause Beyond the Basics until next month. I thought I would figure this "Skool" community stuff out right away, and as my friends who joined me last week found out, I struggled with the sound. I am going to take a couple of weeks to figure it out and get the foundation trainings up then get moving. Feel free to let me know any topics that you would like me to do a training on in the meantime. I am very excited about this.
