The 11:11 Effects closes on 31 July.
Before anything else, thank you. Some of you will have seen the post in my other space, so you already know where this is going. I'm not going to dress it up twice. The 11:11 Effects closes on 31 July. Archived, not deleted. Everything stays where it is, and if there's ever a time for it to open again, it can. This is a not now. Jean said something here that I haven't been able to put down. That Skool has become noise wearing urgency as a costume, and it's exhausting to wade through. She's right. And this space was never meant to be shouted over. It was meant to be quiet, and slow, and honest, and the truth is a room like that can't survive in a place where the loudest voice wins. I'm not willing to become louder to keep it alive. That would kill the thing I was trying to protect anyway. So I'd rather close it while it still means what it meant. Nothing changes until the 31st. Everything stays open, take whatever you want to keep, and I'm here the whole month if you want to talk. If you're paying, I've already handled it and you'll hear from me directly. I've started a Facebook group and that's where I'm taking this. It's new and nearly empty and I won't pretend otherwise. But it's quiet, which was always the point. If you want to be early, come find me. To everyone who witnessed without speaking: you were still here, and I knew it. Thank you for the stillness. It was a phase. What comes next stands on it. Christine

@Christine Rieck Respect! I am not on FB that much, but I will look for your group when I am.
Before anything else, thank you. Truly.
Every person who joined The 11:11 Effects said yes to something quiet and intentional in a loud world. That means more to me than I can properly put into words. I'm grateful for every single one of you, the ones who spoke and the ones who simply witnessed. And I want to be honest with you, because you deserve that. A community only truly lives when it's alive between its people, not just between me and a few. There are fifty + of us here, and when I post, one or two respond. That's not a criticism of anyone. Life is full, energy is finite, and I understand it completely. But it does tell me something honest: as a living, breathing community, this space isn't working the way it was meant to. And I can't keep pouring energy and cost into holding it open for a room that's gone still. So I'm asking, gently, with no wrong answer. Is this space still something you want to be part of, actively? Or has it done what it came to do, and it's time to let it close with grace? I'm not deciding today. I wanted to speak to you first, because you were here, and that matters. If you're a paying member, please don't worry for a moment about your access. I'll take care of you personally, whatever comes next. Thank you for being part of this. However it unfolds, I'm holding it, and you, with gratitude.
Before anything else, thank you. Truly.

@Christine Rieck I want to be real honest about how I am feeling. My thoughts are concerning what seems to be happening so much and I noticed even a group owner noticed it. This was her comment and I couldn't agree more. Scroll your notifications right now. Really look at them. "LAST DAY!!" "This is CRAZY!!" "It's only $2, go NOW!!" "She NEVER does this!!" "I made $285,847,337 in one day!!!" That's not a community talking to you. That's noise wearing urgency as a costume, and somewhere in the middle of it, the actual content disappeared. I have felt this way for a while now and it makes opening Skool, looking at notifications, and just trying to show up difficult because I have to wade through all those types of stuff and it makes me not even want to open Skool at all. I didn't join any group to be SOLD to ALL DAY long. The constant bragging on what their stuff is doing and selling constantly in every post (up to 20 times a day) not offering any new information, has worn me out and taken me to where I don't even try to get to the courses I purchased to learn. I used to love coming to Skool, going through the courses I had and connecting with the communities. It was both fun and informative. Now it is so hard to get through the noise that I find it hard to even try. I have noticed other comments in other groups expressing the same type feeling.
