Haven't been running with my phone this week but this was after this morning's run. Some heat we've had this week.
FLex (or Fail)
Time to reflect on the last week again. What's something you did this week you're proud of? πŸ’ͺ Or... maybe something that didn't go the way you wanted to? Let's hear your flex or fail! ⬇️

Flex. Figured out some stuff and implemented them. Did three runs this week without pain or exacerbating old injuries.

@Madeleine Ringbom The amount of surveillance our current phones do has made me want to quit it.
Why mobility is the most underrated tool for runners
Hey everyone πŸ‘‹ I've been having a lot of conversations with runners recently about mobility, so I thought I'd share a quick thought... Most runners spend their time chasing more miles, faster paces and better fitness. And while those things matter, they're only useful if your body can actually handle the demands of running. That's where mobility comes in. Mobility isn't about becoming a yoga master or touching your toes. It's about giving your body the ability to move well and the strength to have more control over your running. When you move well, running often feels smoother, more comfortable and less restricted. And here's what a lot of runners don't realise. You don't need to spend hours doing it. A few short sessions each week working on key areas like your feet, hips and spine will make a huge difference. The runners who stay healthy and keep improving aren't always the ones doing the most. They're often the ones looking after their bodies consistently. What's one area of your body that feels like it's holding you back when you run? Let me know.

@Korry DuMont It's a dragon to slay for sure! How have you noticed the effects of it in your particular case?

@Korry DuMont I don't think injury would have made you a happier runner. I'm glad you found your fix!

The adidas. My current race shoe is the EVO SL and it is amazing. I probably don't race fast enough to warrant a proper race shoe but the Adios Pro would be the logical step up. (Or the Metaspeeds. I use the Magic speed 4 for interval workouts)
