@Lisa O'Brien to make a point of getting outside for at least 30 minutes every day. I live down a dirt road on several acres in a wooded lot. I do spend too much time indoors. 🌳

@Lynette Wehner in my 20s and 30s! I sadly got out of the NPS, as it was difficult for spouses to work together, not for us but for our supervisors and managers!
New Member Welcome 👋🏼
Please can everyone join me in welcoming @Jean Day McCarthy to our team! Jean and I met in another group and she's as equally passionate about the outdoors as the rest of us in here, so Jean, you'll no doubt fit in great! You've beaten me to the intro but to get started, head across to the #Welcome! to explore how we do things here. 🌳 Pop over to the resources category to grab some free resources 🌳 Courses will open up as you level up, so feel free to go through them. 🌳Lastly, find one post you like and engage with it 😁 Super glad to have you here 😎🔥

Top 10 Essential Outdoor Skills
Okay team - let's collaborate! I want to create a top 10 essential outdoor skills resource for those in the group that are earlier on in their journey. This document will cover 10 top skills considered 'essential' in practicing in the outdoors safely. So, if you have one - pop it below and this will become our first Recalibrate Outdoors collaborative resource! Exciting! I'll pop one in the comments, but I'd love to hear from others in the group too. I'll leave this thread open until Monday 11th May so get your suggestions in by then 🙌
