Travel
I know there have been talks about travel but m flying to Miami and going on a cruise at the end of this month. Does anyone prefill syringes, place in cold case and store in checked luggage ? I'm scared to bring in carryon lol

FYI: Personal possession of a few vials labeled “for research only” doesn’t usually trigger prosecution — at worst, they may confiscate them

@Melissa Meeks I understand . Just think about that pens without prescription or documentation can actually put you in a worse situation. Just saying.
What “Purity” Measures
Purity is almost always assessed by HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography). - The 99% value means that 99% of the material in that sample is the desired peptide sequence. - The remaining ~1% consists of impurities, which are usually: Truncated peptides (chains that didn’t complete during synthesis) Deletion sequences (missing an amino acid somewhere) Minor side-products from synthesis or oxidation - 2. What it does not mean It does not automatically mean there are zero fillers. Some manufacturers sell peptides in pure lyophilized form (just the peptide salt, typically acetate or trifluoroacetate). Others may add excipients or bulking agents (like mannitol, trehalose, or glycine) to stabilize the peptide or make weighing easier. This isn’t captured in the “99% purity” HPLC number unless the COA explicitly states “no excipients added.” It also does not guarantee absence of endotoxins, heavy metals, or microbial contamination. Those require different tests (endotoxin assay, ICP-MS, sterility tests).

I didn’t like that they didn’t have recent COAs . They had one from 2024 for Ipa. They changed it once I called them out to a more recent one. (6month old) No recent COA. Why ? Are they not retesting?
Modern Aminos UPDATE: Who Said The Industry Wouldn't Change
Guys..... We Are Making A Dent in this Industry! I never thought we'd have so much impact as a community but look what I just received from Modern Aminos! They are listening, this isn't fully rolled out, and they still have to go through old labeling but, dang this feels good. I remember they were one of my first orders ever, and to have an impact on them... I'm beyond words right now. You guys are amazing. Let's keep pushing quality standards forward. P.S. That's a conformity test, meaning (3 vials) sent in for testing.

My name is JC. I started my journey into learning about peptides a few months ago. I’m trying to learn as much as possible.
