I’m currently writing a dystopian future, so a lot of my world building has a point to prove a message and critique I have society. A lot of it is just informed by research and opinions, so I just let me head come up with stuff on the spot while I’m writing. It helps to write a part of the story or world that doesn’t have much cultural cache on the world.
