Dear all, the weekly IT meetings with dear @Francesca Proudman on words to ponder about and with her oracle cards are a lot of fun & joy, as well a lot to be on the "tip of your toes" what your thinking and acting is coming from and doing to you and all the world. Those of you having been there, like you dear @Jayne Rose and dear @Leah Lawson , think probably along these lines?! Sounds as a simple game on words... words starting with all the letters of the alphabet... one by one... at least that was it for the last couple of months... I could not attend all, those I could catch were just brilliantly nice. Last week it was the Z... the week before, you might guess it ;), the Y. And the Y caught me last week. One word with Y chosen by Francesca was: YES. I had to say a lot of YESses last week... i.e. suddenly, at midnight last Monday, my colleague asked me to substitute for one of our friends... sudden health problem with emergency call to the clinic... thanks goodness, he is fine... I was asked to being ready the very next day to jump into two courses training of in toto four days, which meant arranging everything, from materials for the trainees, hotel, packing, who is looking after my dog in case my partner would be on business calls, too and so on. And I did it which such a calm mind... I was surprised myself. All worked out so well. We in Germany have a saying "wie geschnitten Brot"... literally "like sliced bread", metaphorically... "easy like Sunday morning" ;). I had said "yes"... So this word applied to a task, a challenge, a situation of which kind (inner or outer world), works like a charm. It is not the YES of being always the nice one, picking up the pieces behind others, not the people pleasing YES (I was / still am one of those "good girls", so believe me, I feel the difference!)... it is the YES to life and even to the power-of-no, because that is life, too.
