You need protein and carbs. And when I say this I mean actual good source of protein whether that is whey or chicken , beef , etc. And a carbs for your muscles too so I normally like toast, bagels, rice but obv not junk like sweets or chips. but I have a normal breakfast/lunch/dinner meal after I train. Don’t sleep on pre workout meals 1.5 hrs before you train. My favorite is whey protein shake with toast with peanut butter/almond butter and cut up banana. Gives a sick pump too
