If your affiliate clicks are decent but commissions are dead, stop changing offers first. Check the click path before you touch the product. Here’s the audit I’d do: 1. Pull 20 recent clicks from one traffic source Don’t mix sources yet. 2. Open the exact bridge, pre-sell, or landing page they saw 3. Ask 3 questions: - Is the promise on the page the same promise that made them click? - Is the next step obvious in under 5 seconds? - Does the page feel like a continuation or a bait-and-switch? 4. Look for silent conversion killers - headline mismatch - too many links - weak CTA placement - long intro before the actual pitch - generic copy that doesn’t match the ad/email angle 5. Fix one thing at a time Don’t rewrite the whole page. Start with: - headline match - CTA clarity - cleaner first screen A lot of affiliates blame the offer when the real problem is the handoff between the click and the pitch. Better click continuity usually beats random offer swapping.
