I want to bring the 3,000-year-old coffee ceremony to a city that runs on takeaway cups. The ONE thing I'm stuck on: How do I slow people down enough to actually experience the coffee?

@Eden Zere Starting mobile is a good idea to get proof of concept before the huge investment of a commercial lease, if you don’t have one already. There is a guy on instagram called poorboy coffee ( https://www.instagram.com/poorboy.coffee?igsi=c242NDlocHQ5dmJt ) who started and believe has stayed mobile / pop-up. He has a very interesting page highlighting his journey. Worth checking out I would suggest. Instead of a coffee cart, do a coffee caravan with dedicated space inside for your specialty work. Would be tough to find parking I guess depending where you are but god that would be awesome! Good luck!!
Tokyo
Hi all, my name is Jay. Just moved from Vancouver Canada to Tokyo Japan. Looking to ideally purchase an existing coffee shop here so fundamentals are already in place regarding legalities, licenses, some degree of market awareness and customer base in existence. New concept / branding etc we can handle. Looking to gain some foundational knowledge here however as our expertise is in real estate sales and spa ownership in Canada specifically… so a little different world to get into here. Thanks again and I look forward to the information flow from this group/course. 🙌🏻🙏🏻
