One thing that I find to be true is that The Holy Spirit is always Speaking and we have the innate ability to hear him sometimes his voice comes as a spontaneous thought that comes in your head, it could be a revelation through the Word of God, it Could even be reoccurring numbers or phrases, he could also bring things back into remembrance.God can and will use anything and everything. The question is how do you know it’s from God? From my own experience in my walk I find that Romans 8:7 is a pretty good way to tell it says that the mindset of the flesh(carnal mind) is at enmity with God. So if your having a good thought and there is opposition that’s a probably the spirit talking. here is an example let’s say your in the grocery store you see a lady in crutches and you get the thought “I should go talk to here and pray for her” then another thought comes saying “why who are you to pray for her, she doesn’t need prayer” your mind will tell you all kinds of things to not get you to do it a common one is “it’s too late” haha. So some good ways to discern is that whatever it is has opposition, it lines up with the word of God, it lines up with Gods character meaning it doesn’t condemn you, shame you etc. and it’s something that would be a blessing for someone. Here is a Common Question that I get This is just my thoughts on this so feel free to add your input or your response to this question in the Comments. My Response: The World does not differentiate between good and evil. When man fell in the beginning and sin entered the world everything became Cause and Effect. Now because of choices, things happen whether we intend them to or not whether it's related to us or not. Even the Godly and the saints are not exempt from suffering and persecution from the choices of others. A great scripture for this is Ecclesiastes chapter 9:2. So I think my answer is that it doesn't just happen to good people it happens to all people in life. Any thoughts?
