Is manifesting holding coaches back?
I've been coaching someone recently who had a vision board. Every morning they visualised success. A fully booked coaching business. Clients saying yes. More impact. More income. They'd read the books. Listened to the podcasts. Repeated the affirmations. And yet... Their business hadn't really moved. As we dug deeper, I realised something. They weren't lacking belief. They weren't lacking motivation. They were lacking action. Now before I go any further... I know this might be controversial. Because a lot of coaches believe in manifestation. Some even coach their clients to do it. And I'm not saying visualising is wrong. I do it. And I've had the vision boards. All I'm saying is... How you visualise matters. Because if all you ever picture is the end result... The full diary. The money. The lifestyle. The recognition. Your brain gives you a small reward as if you've already made progress. You get the emotional payoff... Without earning it. It's the same reason people announce a big goal on Facebook and suddenly feel amazing before they've actually done anything. The applause creates a dopamine hit. And your brain starts to believe the work has already begun. Except... It hasn't. The research around mental rehearsal is fascinating. The people who make the biggest progress don't just imagine crossing the finish line. They mentally rehearse the process. The difficult conversations. The content they need to create. The sales calls. The follow-up messages. The objections they'll handle. The moments they won't feel like showing up. They visualise themselves doing the work. And that's exactly what I encouraged this coach to start doing. Instead of imagining a fully booked coaching business... Imagine yourself making the calls. Creating the content. Following up when nobody replies. Handling objections confidently. Serving clients brilliantly. Because success isn't built by visualising the destination. It's built by repeatedly practising the journey.

There has to be an emotional pull through for the manifestation to take place. And Accountability to follow
The secret to getting what you really want
The year was 1990. In Tokyo, Japan… Boxer Mike Tyson was the undefeated, undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. He was incredible. Invincible. Considered unbeatable. And his opponent? Buster Douglas. A 42 to 1 underdog. That’s long odds. And rightly so… Because Buster Douglas was a bum. He was a nobody with no chance of winning. Just some punching bag and a payday for Tyson before he took on the next real contender. *ding ding* Round 1 and Tyson comes out with fists of fury blazing. As expected… Tyson smashed up Douglas. Douglas went down. And everyone thought the fight was over. But Douglas got up. *ding ding* Round 2. Douglas is knocked down again. But he gets up again. *ding ding* Round 3. The same thing happens. Again. And again. Tyson keeps knocking down Douglas but Douglas keeps getting up! Now it’s Round 5. Nobody has taken Tyson beyond round 5 before. The crowd started rooting for Douglas. He’s still getting knocked down, round after round… But he keeps getting up. By this time… Tyson is getting tired. He wasn’t used to such a long, gruelling fight. *Ding Ding* Now it's Round 10. And the unbelievable happens. Douglas catches Tyson with an uppercut… He follows up with a flurry of punches… And knocks Tyson out. It’s still one of the biggest sporting upsets in history. Now… Here’s the crazy part: 23 days before the fight Buster’s mum died of cancer. He was distraught. Combined with the fact he was at the end of his career… And he realised he had… Nothing Left To Lose. So he kept getting up. Again and again. With me? Because the point I’m trying to make is: The most dangerous person in any game is the person who plays and has nothing to lose. And I’m not just talking about sport :-) The things that stop you getting the coaching clients and the lifestyle you really want… Like procrastination. Self doubt. Overwhelm? Forget all that. And realise this: What have you got to lose? Really? And what would happen if you started to play the game like the person who has got nothing to lose… and could only gain?

Totally! Never Give Up
If this week tested you... read this
I just finished coaching someone who'd had a really tough week. One of those weeks where nothing seemed to go right. Clients didn't convert. Self-doubt crept in. They'd started questioning whether they were even cut out for this. And as they were talking, I realised something... This isn't unique to them. Every coach who is trying to build something meaningful has weeks like this. I've had a ton of them. The difference is what happens next... See, everybody wants to build an incredible coaching business. Everybody wants freedom. Impact. Income. The ability to change lives. Until life starts applying pressure. But here's what I shared with them... Pressure doesn't break people. Pressure reveals them. It reveals the strength of your vision. It reveals the stories you tell yourself when things don't go your way. It reveals whether your mission is bigger than your emotions. Because most people don't quit when things get hard. They quit because they don't have a reason that's powerful enough to keep going when it does. Without a compelling mission... Every setback feels personal. Every rejection feels like proof you're not good enough. Every difficult week feels like a sign you should stop. But the coaches who eventually build something extraordinary ask a different question. They don't ask... "Why is this happening to me?" They ask... "What is this trying to develop in me?" Resilience? Patience? Better leadership? More courage? More conviction? Because when pressure is connected to purpose... It becomes power. That's why two coaches can experience exactly the same difficult week... One spends the weekend wondering whether coaching is for them. The other spends the weekend learning, adjusting and preparing to come back stronger on Monday. Same pressure. Different mission. So if you've had one of those weeks... Don't rush to judge it. This week may not have been sent to stop you. It may have been sent to strengthen you. Rest this weekend.

@Ed JC Smith this wisdom is so true for life in general. The perspective, life isn't happening to me, it's happening FOR me comes to mind. The 5 positives to every 1 negative has become a regular practice that helps push through and gives me the evidence that I'm enough and capable.

Live this Saturday: Let’s fix what’s really blocking you
Remember when I said I had something special coming? Well… This is it. In between piano lessons and walking Bambi & Belle… I’ve been deep in creation mode, refining something powerful. This Saturday, I’m running a LIVE training: “The 3 Problems Stopping You Getting the Relationship You Deserve And How To Fix Them.” Yes. We’re going there! Because here’s the truth… We are born in relationships. We live in relationships. We struggle in relationships. Everything is relationships. Your partner. Your ex. Your friends. Your clients. Your relationship with yourself. Your thoughts. Your emotions. Your patterns. Life is relationships. And if your relationships aren’t where you want them to be… It’s not because you’re broken. It’s because no one ever taught you the real mechanics of what’s going wrong. In this live training, I’ll be breaking down: The 3 core problems I see over and over again that stop people from: • Finding healthy love • Feeling secure and chosen • Building deep, lasting connection • Or helping their clients do the same And more importantly… I’ll show you exactly how to start fixing them. This training is for you if: • You’re single and tired of attracting the wrong people • You’re in a relationship but something feels off • You’re a coach who helps clients with their relationship with themselves or others • You’re done repeating the same patterns Because here’s the thing… Even when everything else in life looks good… If your relationships feel unstable, confusing, or draining… It leaks into everything. Your health… Your confidence… Your work… Your nervous system… It all comes back to relationships. And even if YOU feel good about your relationship... your clients could be struggling with theirs. …which can affect EVERYTHING else they're trying to achieve too. This Saturday, I’m pulling back the curtain. Live. No fluff. No vague advice. Just real insight + real solutions. Tap here to register now
