the will of God is thanksgiving always
A while back, I caught myself thanking God only after things worked out. But one season, nothing seemed to move. Prayers felt quiet. Progress felt slow. And honestly, I didn’t feel very, thankful. One day I decided to thank God anyway, not because everything was perfect, but because I realized He had already been faithful before and that hadn’t changed. Slowly, my perspective shifted. The situation didn’t change overnight, but my heart did. Peace came first. Clarity followed. Then momentum. Thanksgiving has a way of realigning us. It reminds us that even in waiting seasons, there’s still something to acknowledge, learn from, and grow through. Curious to hear from you fellow brother and sister in Christ, What’s something you’re grateful for right now, even if life isn’t exactly where you want it to be? Has gratitude ever changed your outlook in a tough season? Let’s share and encourage one another.

This reminded me of Philipians 4:6, where Paul instructs believers to be anxious for nothing, but in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, to present their requests to God. I think including gratitude before requests in prayer often allows us to acknowledge and bring new light to all He has done for us. As for a personal share, well, I moved to a new city in December (hence why my activity here has been so low), and while I've been here, I've felt myself wanting a lot of the things I left behind. The relationships, the reputation, etc. Thankfully, my church started 21 days of prayer and fasting a few days ago, and since then, I've really started reflecting on what he's provided since I got here. The professional opportunities, the people who want to get to know me, the chances for new memories and experiences, etc. If there's one thing I've learned from this first week of prayer and fasting, it's how much more content you can be, and how much more trust in Him you'll find yourself having if you just focus on what He's already done for you.
As A Christian Entrepreneur
One thing I’ve noticed as Christian entrepreneurs: the businesses that last and scale aren’t always the flashiest, they’re the ones built on consistency, integrity, and service. It’s easy to get caught up chasing every marketing trick or “quick win,” but revenue and growth follow the habits you repeat daily, not the hype you follow. Small, consistent actions, like responding promptly to clients, delivering value, and showing care for your audience, compound over time. That’s how a side hustle becomes a sustainable business. Faith can guide more than your decisions, it can guide your discipline, your approach to service, and your long-term vision. Let what you build reflect not only your goals but your values.
