Budget vs. product count
We're running €50/day on Google Ads (PMax) for 153 products in the lighting niche (higher AOV, high-ticket). We resell existing brands, so pricing is competitive but margins are a bit tighter. Everything is optimized; titles, descriptions, competitive pricing but sales are very inconsistent: some days a sale, some days nothing. Most of these products haven't come close to getting enough spend yet to actually tell whether they're a winner or not. I get that spreading €50/day across 153 products means each one gets very little data, and more products = longer to find winners. Question: is it better to just shrink our catalog for now so the remaining products get enough spend to actually prove themselves, or should we add more new products to test? What's actually worked for others in a similar high-ticket/reseller situation?
Anyone in high ticket niche?
Hey everyone, Anyone else here in the high ticket niche? Curious about your experience scaling PMax campaigns for higher price points. We scaled a campaign for data collection rather than profitability, and saw the expected performance drop that comes with that. We scaled because roas was good just with 3 sales in total. But we’re now at 3 days after scaling with 0 sales, which feels a bit unnatural for the spend level. We get that high ticket needs a higher CPA and longer learning phase, but it’s starting to feel like throwing money away. Anyone in high ticket dealt with this? How long do you let Google cook before intervening, and what makes you decide to scale back vs hold?
Do you need custom/AI product images to avoid GMC issues? Or can you use supplier photos as-is?
Hey everyone Quick question about product images and GMC compliance, would love to hear from anyone who's dealt with this. I'm running my store and currently using supplier images for my product feed. I know GMC can be strict about image quality and originality, but I'm not sure where exactly the line is. A few things I'm wondering: 1. Do you need to swap out all product images with AI-generated or custom ones to stay safe with GMC, or is it only an issue if you're getting actual policy violations? 2. Can you get away with importing AliExpress or competitor images 1:1, or does that cause misrepresentation / image quality issues down the line? 3. What's the most efficient way to produce custom product images at scale? With a large catalog, doing this manually for every product feels like a massive time sink, curious if anyone has a good workflow (AI tools, batch editing, etc.) Any experience or tips appreciated, especially if you've managed to scale this without spending hours on every single product image. Thanks!
Setting up standard shopping low performers campaign
I'm optimizing my feed by excluding low-performing products from my PMax campaign and moving them into a separate Standard Shopping campaign. My question is: what are the recommended settings for that campaign? For example, should I use Maximize Clicks or Manual CPC as the bidding strategy and are there any other settings worth paying attention to? Any help is appreciated!
