What is your favorite book? Recommendations needed…
My next project are those below, one by Napoleon Hill from year 1919 “ It will Place You Wherever You Wish To Be Among Men” and “The Courage To Be Disliked” by Ichiro Kishimi from 2013. Those will take me the rest of the week to read, so can someone tell me which book I should read next?🤩🤩🤩

@Mari McKahsum Sounds like an interesting book as words become reality.
Fixed mindset vs. growth mindset
In the realm of consulting, the concept of fixed mindset versus growth mindset can be a powerful tool for both consultants and clients. The distinction between these two mindsets can influence how challenges are approached, solutions are designed, and ultimately, how successful the outcomes will be. A fixed mindset is characterized by the belief that abilities and intelligence are static and unchangeable. Individuals or organizations with this mindset often avoid challenges, give up easily when faced with obstacles, and see effort as fruitless. This perspective can severely limit the potential for innovation and growth, as it fosters a fear of failure and a reluctance to take on new challenges. On the other hand, a growth mindset embraces the belief that abilities and intelligence can be developed through dedication, effort, and learning. This mindset encourages resilience in the face of challenges, a desire to learn from feedback, and a willingness to try new strategies. For consultants, fostering a growth mindset in clients can lead to more innovative problem-solving, greater adaptability to change, and a more proactive approach to business challenges. In consulting, helping clients shift from a fixed to a growth mindset can be transformative. It involves guiding them to recognize that their abilities and those of their teams can evolve, and that failures are opportunities for learning, not just setbacks. This shift can lead to a more dynamic, forward-thinking approach to business, where continuous improvement and innovation become the norm. As a consultant, have you encountered situations where promoting a growth mindset made a significant difference in the outcomes of your projects? How do you approach fostering this mindset in your clients?

When you can be mindful and cultivate a safe space, both physical and psychological, moving towards a growth mindset seems to be much easier in both personal and professional settings.
