The Forge has been invited to join the Mighty Men this Saturday at Elevate Life Church in Frisco. They want to meet/see our group and help give us some wisdom and direction as we cultivate an awesome Christ centered group. Mighty Men- is a men’s group with the same values, principles, and love for God as The Forge. They started with 8 guys at Rudy’s and now have a committed group of men around 300 strong. Mighty Men starts at 7 AM in Frisco. We are planning to meet at the church at 5:45 or if you want to meet us there, be there at 6:45.(we can carpool not everyone needs to make their own way btw) Please comment whether you are going or not so I can make sure everyone saw this. I would really like for ALL to make it. This will be a great time of worship and a great message.

Yup I’m behind… lol. This habit is doing a great work in my heart and there’s a growing desire to do this for the rest of my life. Morning quiet time after working out is a great anchor for the day, as I have ZERO idea what challenges lie before me today and every day. Y’all make it a great one!

Back on it! Still not feeling the best, got meds going, so I’ve skipped the pushups. But got my quiet time in after a rough night of sleep. I started the normal stuff, but then my spirit took over and really dove deep with God about everything I’ve got going on. I know we’ve all got our struggles and problems, and I’m just grateful for God’s mercy and grace, along with this community of Brothers. Y’all make it a great day!

I woke up this morning feeling like I’ve been run over by a train. This all started after our first Tres Dias meeting. So many things have happened since saying yes to serving this Tres Dias weekend. I firmly believe there is a real spiritual war going on, the devil is real, and when we draw closer to God through Christ, darkness moves in to try and stop it. I’m praying for the Armor of God to cover all of His kids because the enemy is big mad. Hope y’all’s days go better!

Yesterday I met up with an old friend I grew up with in school. Yeah we talked about a little bit about everything but a majority of our conversation after 23 years of not seeing each other or talking very much was about Jesus. I told him how He changed my life and how I live now. And about all the exciting things we have coming up in the church and our community. But my friend spoke about his conversion to Catholicism. And how he attended the espanol mass when he got into Dallas. I spoke to him about how and what makes me saved through Christ Jesus and about the grace He has given us. And how the sabbath was made for man and not the man for sabbath. However, I couldn't help but be saddened that I don't think my 3 hours with him was enough to change his perspective. To me discipline isn't about traditional acts but its about consistency in our behavior, in how we should live our lives. We talk about it all the time, it starts in our hearts. I pray that I do that. And I think that's a work in progress for me everyday. But I felt I showed a good example to my long life friend yesterday. And I'm pretty sure when I dropped him back off at his hotel, he thought I wasn't the same guy from all those years ago. What makes me so different. And I pray he stews on that. So maybe he can be interested with how he can get some of the peace in life that I prayed and shared through the words and power of Jesus with him. If ya'll don't mind. I ask you say about prayer for my friend Gian. In his trip down here and his safe travels home to Maine on Tuesday. His family, work, and financial situation. But most of all for his relationship with Jesus Christ.
