@Amber VanAuken Not always. Life happens. In your experience, when one stops paying attention, do they get louder or more quiet?
Welcome

Lesson 1 Exercise: Shifting Lack
This exercise is a short way to catch “lack language” while it is happening. It replaces it with one finished present statement. Lack language keeps attention on what is missing. The body often follows that focus with tension, urgency, or collapse. A finished statement gives the body a different instruction. It creates a cleaner place to stand. Examples Lack line: “I need more time.” Shift line: “This is enough.” Lack line: “I hope this works out." Shift line: “This works out.” Practice Set a two-minute timer. -Write one lack sentence that has been repeating today. -Cross out one lack word in that sentence. -Rewrite the sentence as one present, finished line that begins with “I am” or “This is.” -Say the finished line once. -Take one small action that matches the finished line, under two minutes (send the message, open the document, drink water, pay one small bill, stand up and breathe). Reflection question: Which word shows up most often in lack sentences

@Adam M. Heath Thank you! I leaned about this while studying witchcraft and then Wicca. I moved into the laws of attraction, and then manifestation in general. After, I found NLP. I decided I liked that the best because it helped me gain a greater level of understanding of how the brain works. I was able to use that to upgrade a lot of the other workings I was doing across other frameworks.
I Accidently Took Home That Ghost (Attachment Clearing)
Last night, I was working on a biography for myself on a ghost hunting website. The AI I was using to help with ideas told me to write a post about ghost hunting, and offer that as a link. This was late at night. This is what I came up with. My question to the people in Rise, What are your experiences with ghosts? Imagine getting home at 2 a.m. after an investigation, or exacting adventure with things that are not there. We find out that something from the investigation seems to have followed us. Sleep will not come easily. Our skin may still prickle. Your cat may sit in the doorway and stare at something you cannot see. That does not automatically mean you have an attachment. It does mean that a little clearing before bed can save you a lot of trouble later. During a hunt, a spirit can draw energy from investigators to make noise, move things, or interact with the environment. That energy can mix with the investigator's energy during the contact. Some of the spirit's energy can stay behind on the investigator after the hunt. I call that leftover energy spirit residue. When I am feeling lazy, I call it ectoplasm. Ectoplasm is not really the correct word. It works for this purpose. Older locations can be worse for residue than fresh encounters. An old building can have decades of emotional and spiritual activity tied to it. Death, grief, violence, fear, and repeated paranormal activity can all become part of the atmosphere of a place. Fresh energy tends to clear faster. Energy that has been sitting around for years can be much more stubborn. The problem with a quick cleansing is that energy has to go somewhere. If it gets pulled off the investigator without being directed, there is no reason to assume that it simply disappears. A partner can pick it up. A pet can pick it up. Clothing can pick it up. Bedding can pick it up. That is why I do not like the idea of simply washing something off and calling the job finished. My own routine is simple. I use warm salt water and ordinary table salt. I wash my hands before touching anyone at home. In my practice, the hands have chakras that can hold stagnant energy. The hands are also where a lot of energetic contact happens during an investigation. They are a practical place to start.

@Adam M. Heath Thank you! I appicerare the support. My first attempt a banishing happened when I was exploring the sin eater idea, and the various implications (the energtic form, without taking on the sins of the newly dead). One of my friends had a frozen shoulder. I tried healing it using hte standard practices. It kept on getting sucked away at something. I looked and saw an attachment sitting on my friends shoulder. I had dealt with my own shoulder issues on and off for years due to an empathic rotator cuff problem. I was going to start healing work on it anyway...I moved the attachment from my friends shoulder to mine. It was a malicious doll from a musume that was apparently famous. I renamed the doll to Steve, and petted it like a ghost dog. a couple days latter it went back home, when I asked it to beg for a treat. The next year, my friend whent back to the museum. The doll interacted with other people but refused to do more than spike her ghost hunter meeter. If I knew what I was doing back then, I would simply have gone into sacred space with my friend, called upon the guardian of the museum, and require it take back one of its monetizing assets before it gets damaged.

@Anette Reinke Welcome! Can you tell us where you are from? If you like, can you share one of your favorite memes with us? This a heavy space where we use humor to decompress and poke fun at our selves. One of my very favorite mems is the Grumpy Cat. Entire empires were based on this cats grump.
Welcome
