❤️ WHO PUSHED THE FAST-FORWARD BUTTON?! ⏩ I’m sitting in the lobby of a cardiologist’s office today. Funny thing is, the cardiologist is someone I used to work with years ago when I worked in the ER. So sitting here brings back a lot of memories. But today I’m not running around the ER taking care of people. I’m sitting in the lobby… watching. And this lobby is FULLLLLL OF PEOPLE. I see swollen feet. 🦶 People carrying oxygen. People walking slowly. People who look weak or unsteady. People sitting quietly, probably wondering what the doctor is going to tell them. Some are elderly, like you might expect. But what really caught my attention? HOW MANY YOUNG PEOPLE ARE HERE. 30s. 40s. 50s. And I’m sitting here thinking… WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING TO US?! ❤️ What’s in our water? 💧 What’s in our food? What are we breathing? Is it stress? Our lifestyles? Lack of exercise?
