If you’re wondering how I run my model calls from start to finish, read this:
Drop 🔥🔥 if this was valuable and helpful 1. I start with content that is already performing well organically. I either create a new video or reuse a video/reel that already did well on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc. If the content already naturally caught attention, that tells me there’s already interest there. 2. I turn that content into an ad. I run the model call ad specifically to my target area/region. This is important because I’m not trying to attract random people across the country. I want LOCAL leads. 3. I clearly state the model call requirements. Examples: • Hair type needed • Availability • Artistic freedom requirements • Whether the service is free or discounted If I charge, I usually offer around 60% off in exchange for content creation. If it’s free, I clearly say it’s complimentary in exchange for modeling. 4. I have them DM me photos of their hair first. This helps me pre-qualify people before sending booking information. Not everybody is a fit for every model call, and that’s okay. 5. Once approved, I send the payment/booking link. This secures commitment and reduces no-shows. 6. They sign a model release/contract. This protects both parties and gives permission for the content/photos/videos to be used for marketing purposes. 7. We complete the service + record content. This is where the real magic happens because now I’m creating NEW marketing material while simultaneously attracting NEW leads. A lot of stylists think model calls are just about “getting content.” No. A well-executed model call can: • Bring exposure to your target market • Increase local visibility • Attract new followers/leads in your city • Build your portfolio • Create authority • Give potential clients proof of your work • Help people become familiar with your face, personality, and process And honestly? A lot of people follow me JUST from seeing the ads in their area, even if they don’t become the model. That matters. You have to stop thinking about social media only in terms of virality and start thinking about visibility + lead generation.

Clients total was $550
Smoothing Treatments are a huge part of my income More hairstylists should offer them consistently My last client Smoothing Treatment client was $550 and the service took me 4 Hours .. it’s usually 3 but she had a lot of hair It’s often slept on and stylists usually undercharge for it

what’s your favorite brand of smoothing treatment I like Amika but it’s definitely a lot of steps, keratin complex is good as well. I’ve been thinking about trying Wellas
Strawberricurls Invites You: The Chemistry of Color And Curls: Retaining Curl Integrity with Lightener
I am SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS CLASS! Most stylists think they have to choose between high-impact color and healthy curls. I’m here to show you how to have both. We are going deep into the science of using lightener on dense, curly hair while keeping that curl pattern 100% intact. What we’re breaking down: ✅ Pre-Lift Preparation: Strengthening the bonds before you even touch the lightener. ✅ Lightener Chemistry: How to lift safely without texture loss. ✅ Texture Preservation: My proven steps for ensuring the curl snaps back immediately. The Details: - Cost: This session is complimentary to attend LIVE. - The Catch: I am only taking 15 stylists to keep this session intimate and deep-dive focused. Once those 15 spots are claimed, the doors are locked. 🔒 - The Replay: If you want to own this training forever, you can grab the Lifetime Replay for $47. If you don’t attend live and don’t purchase the replay, you won't get the info. Grab your spot here before they’re gone: 👉 https://www.simpletix.com/e/the-chemistry-of-color-and-curls-retaining-tickets-271979 DROP "GOT IT" once you got your spot! See you in the room! 🫡🏆
