Throwback moment God reminded me of recently:I was working nonstop — building, planning, serving — and He said, “You’re breaking My commandment.” That moment humbled me. The Sabbath isn’t optional , it’s not a reward for finishing your to-do list. It’s one of the Ten Commandments. God showed me that when we ignore rest, we’re not being disciplined — we’re being disobedient. And disobedience always costs us clarity, peace, and momentum. 📖 Joshua 1:8 tells us that prosperity comes from meditating on God’s Word day and night and doing what it says. That includes rest. And it also talks about that’s how we become successful. “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” ‭‭Joshua‬ ‭1‬:‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/111/jos.1.8.NIV Culture says hustle makes you become more successful, God says meditate on his word!
