WELCOME FOUNDING MEMBERS!
Hey Jasmine, Janine, Stacy.... AND Bob & Mona (aka mom and dad) — welcome to The Unhinged Yogi community. I am so stoked that the 5 of you are my founding members! Each of you have impacted my life in a powerful way and I am beyond grateful you were curious enough to be here! This space is pretty simple for now: weekly inspiration, classes, philosophy rants, nervous system nonsense, and whatever other random shit helped keep me sane this week. Each week usually revolves around a theme and points back to either a Power Flow or Yin Flow inside the Unhinged Resets classroom — generally 30 minutes or less because honestly, attention spans are fighting for their lives out here. And if this week’s vibe isn’t your thing? Amazing. Go feral. Pick another class. This is not a cult. (Probably.) The discussion prompts are there to stir up conversation, not to become a TED Talk unless you want them to. What I’ve learned over years of teaching yoga and also just existing as a normal messy human is that there is SO much shit we all quietly think and carry around. Usually the moment one person says it out loud, five other people go: “Oh thank god, same.” So this can be a safe space for productive shit talking, overthinking, spiralling, breakthroughs, weird observations, tiny wins, existential crises, or just lurking quietly in the corner with a tea and emotional support hoodie. Share a thought, a feeling… or don’t. But I promise you: whatever’s rattling around in your brain has the power to help someone else feel seen and understood. Glad you’re here. Now, go stretch your hamstrings and your emotional resilience.

Thank you Meghan:) Honored to be part of this with you. Practicing with you has been a huge part of my healing. Before I found your classes, I felt weak in ways I didn’t even have language for — mentally, emotionally, and just broken in my body. I never expected that creative movement like your classes could pull me out of my head and make me stronger in actual life off the mat. Your cues and little phrases — like ‘you can do anything for one more breath’ — have carried me through some really tough moments off the mat too. And now your yin classes have taken my practice into another beautiful direction I never expected and I'm loving it:) What I love most is how true you are to yourself in your teaching and in your life. For me, this is why your classes land in a way that feels real, grounding and actually transformative. I love that you’re sharing your wisdom with the community here, because I know it’s going to help others the way it’s helped me. Happy to be on this journey with you.

You don't need to be coddled. You need someone to hold up a mirror, tilt their head, and say, “You sure you want to keep living like that?” It's time and you know it. Strip away the excuses, the sugar coating, and the “good vibes only” nonsense. This community is here to leave you with something far more valuable: a chance to live authentically and finally feel consistently better. For now, let's keep this simple: 1. Introduce yourself: Where are you from, and what made you say “okay… this one feels different”? 2. Watch the welcome video below. 3. Go try a flow in the classroom. This is yoga inside your real life—the busy, messy, unapologetically unhinged life!

Thank you, Meghan! 🙏 The message in this video regarding Happiness as a destination really speaks to me as I often catch myself with this type of thinking. I am excited to practice with you and be part of your community on skool:)
Why do I practice yoga?
There are too many reasons to list… but this video captures many of them. I’m in love with the version of myself unlocked through my practice. Why do you practice? I’d love to know!

What initially brought me to yoga was search for healing from anxiety/panic attacks...and once I learned the tools to handle these, now what keeps me going is that it feels like a slow dance and a moving meditation that brings me glimpses of joy off the mat as well:)
