Flat loaves
I’ve been baking one loaf each week for a month or so. They continue coming out dense and a little flat. Any suggestions?

Moving to larger jar
I just took Sandra’s class earlier this week and the three day assimilation went great. Today, I got a larger jar and moved the starter to that so I could add to it and make a loaf soon. I added flour and water and drew a new line 1/3 of the way up the jar. It’s been about 6 hours and it hasn’t risen and the starter now feels super light and fluffy. What have I done wrong?

I waited 2 more days and it didn’t double. So today, I discarded all but 2-3 tablespoons of starter, put it back in the small jar, added 2 tablespoons of flour and water to get to the consistency I think is right. And figured I’d see if it doubles. Hope I didnt kill it.
