47, Audio Engineer to Organic Farming to Trading
Greetings from Utah. First love was music and audio engineering. The passion lead to a 12 year career, post graduating Berklee College of Music, traveling the world and mixing live concerts for various Grammy award winning artists, after the roadlife got to me(260days on tour/yr.) I found a mutual love for soil, food, farming and community which lead to building two farms over 15 years in Washington state and Utah. The family land I was farming in Utah sold at the peak of my business and instead of transitioning the farm right away I thought I found the love of my life who also was a farmer. After three years of that relationship the co farming dream life fizzled. Feeling a bit lost I strarted investing in physical precious metals and thus my eyes saw their first sight of the trading charts. Trading I felt could help me build the next farm of my dreams with the funding to buy the tools I needed and pay my farming family(crew) extremely well. Two years later I still feel that way but I don’t have much to show for it, but I’m pressing on with a new found joy of trading and dreams awaiting. Trading style: ICT, 30’s CME Opening Range, Dynamic RTH Gaps and OHLC STAT-Map levels. Utilizing footprint and TPO charts.

@Kevin Bott Been funded 1million dollars over two different time spans, but fumbled both due to emotional trading. That’s on me not the concepts. Starting to incorporate order flow into it all, but technical isn’t my issue it’s mental/emotional, so most my attention is into the psychology atm.

Daily posts regarding mindset/psychology/trading as a business etc before nyo for us to reflect on in our premarket prep/focus session before the trading day. I can find these on x but often I don’t even what to open x to get exposed to everything else that comes along with it or get distracted. Looking here on the other hand avoids those pitfalls.

Stepping Back To Launch Forward!
Last week, the violence in the world really took its toll on me. I’m realizing something important: in order to give you my best my clearest advice, my strongest psychology tools, and the energy to help transform your trading and your life I have to protect my own peak state. And truthfully, last week I wasn’t there. That’s why I’m taking a step back to retreat, to refill, and to come back grounded. What I want you to know is this: I am here for every single one of you. More than ever, I believe people need real help, real change work, and real community. That’s what we’re building here together. This community is about YOU and YOU are not just trading! This week we get back to it. Back to hammering at trading psychology. Back to doing the work that shapes who you become in the market and beyond. And while I know some of you may not be people of faith, I’d like to pray over this community as we start the week. Hi Lesley, thanks for the message. Not sure if you noticed, but I’m new here and over the last week I’ve been active in the community. Really enjoy what I’m taking in so far. I would greatly value prayer as a man of faith. I’m currently struggling mentally and with my trading. I was studying with a mentor I called a good friend for over a year, during that time his students went from a handful down to just two of us. The two of us were with him around four months before his attitude turned quickly and he cut off all communication with us and turned to X to talk disgracefully about us personally. Since then my trading results have harshly progressed backward, not due to my edge/model but due to my emotions. The emotional/life balance was already a bit off in general before this, but trading to me although a learning process in these first few years was positive and inspiring, but this fallout with a friend/mentor hit a bit hard. A side note is I’m in Utah and my newphew was at the Charlie Kirk event/shooting and he previously had no interest in faith, but he joined me in church this past Sunday, so I’m praying the spirit works with/within him. His name is Jordan. I value the community and thankful I was lead here.
