A change of Plans
Gents I have had a change of plan! I thought about this and The Challenge community works with the timing right now, while I build the cooking content. The idea came about as I have set myself a huge goal for next year of gaining 1 million YouTube subscribers by thanksgiving next year. So I thought it would be awesome to have get others involved. I believe and know the laws of the Universe work so Lets put them to the test. Let’s live life by design. The Bible says ‘Ask and it is given’ in the comments is an example of others through history who said the same (this group is not religious, just an example). The Bible did not say beg, plead, justify. Napoleon Hill spent more than 2 decades studying the most successful people and then wrote a book called ‘Think and Grow rich,’ notice the name of the book. It’s not called plan, manipulate, force, it said think. Let’s give it a try and Challenge ourselves to a year of conscious effort and conscious thought towards a desired outcome of our choice. Believe that we have received it and act like everything for the next 12 months is leading us to this goal. It’s a community to keep us in check, build momentum and support others as they learn to live life by design. Let me know your thoughts, you are going to have to make a decision of what you want to accomplish ❤️ Much love

Great question. The idea behind “ask and it is given” shows up across cultures, faiths, and in the lives of many notable people—sometimes as prayer, sometimes as intention, and sometimes as simply asking boldly. Here are some well-known examples: Spiritual and philosophical echoes - Qur’an (40:60): “Call upon Me; I will respond to you.” A direct parallel in Islam emphasizing asking God and receiving. - Sikh scripture (Guru Granth Sahib): “Jo mange Thakur apne te, soee soee deve.” Translation: “Whatever one asks of the Lord, He gives.” - Bhagavad Gita (9:22): “To those who are devoted to Me… I carry what they lack and preserve what they have,” a promise of divine provision for sincere seekers. - Rumi (13th c. Sufi mystic): “You must ask for what you really want.” An invitation to heartfelt asking and receptivity. Historical figures known for “asking” through prayer - George Müller (1805–1898): Ran orphanages in Bristol funded solely by prayer. His journals recount thousands of specific answered prayers, including the famous morning when food “arrived” just as the children sat down to eat. - St. Teresa of Avila (1515–1582): Wrote extensively about petitionary prayer and trust in divine response while founding convents despite lack of resources. Modern self-help and mindset - Napoleon Hill: Think and Grow Rich popularized “definiteness of purpose” and faith—often summarized as “Ask (decide), believe, receive.” He documented stories of intention turning into tangible outcomes. - Norman Vincent Peale: The Power of Positive Thinking urged prayer plus expectation—“prayerize, visualize, actualize.” - Florence Scovel Shinn and Catherine Ponder: Early prosperity writers who taught specific affirmations and asking in prayer to “claim” good. - Esther Hicks (Abraham-Hicks): Ask and It Is Given made the “ask-believe-receive” idea mainstream in the modern “law of attraction.” - Rhonda Byrne and Jack Canfield (The Secret): Promoted asking and visualization; countless public testimonials followed.

Welcome to Mindful Cooking
It is a privilege and an honor to have you apart of this community. A few years ago I was in a lot of struggle with my new business and found myself in a tough place in a ton of debt, trapped, isolated, anxious and I had no clear way of getting out, at the same time 3 children at home and a team depending on me. It was at my lowest point that I realized what I was searching for could not be outside of me, of that were the case I would be unhappy for a long time. I shifted my perspective and started looking in other places for the answer. I started listening to anything that would help me remain positive, started exercising more, started building better habits, taking courses that helped my mindset, researching and reading up on leaders like Dr. Joe Dispenza, Peter Crone, David Ghiyam and Kabbalah and more. I started studying online courses as well as a Health Coaching Course. Listening to and reading anything that could expand my mindset, meditating for the first time and finding out who I really am. I would not say that I have found all the answers, however I have started looking at life through a different perspective, one of gratitude and love, finding peace, joy and a sense of calm. Realizing in my search that we are Beautiful Devine Beings and that we do not need our business to be successful to feel good and that waiting for something outside of us to make us feel good is a means to an end. I started spending more time in the present moment and shifting my focus from things I did not want to happen, to things that I did want to happen. I started dreaming about an outcome that I loved instead of one that I feared. This simple shift in my energy and focus changed my life and have led me to this point. In this search I realized just how important and vital the food we eat is, and that changing how we eat dramatically impacts the way we show up each day. In this channel you will: - A community based on love, amazing food and good vibes - Learn how to cook like a world class, award winning chef - Have access to a growing list of recipes, and help create new ones - A weekly live call - An evolving community, in search of their best self
