Fasting / and SVT!
Top Tuesday! Hope you're all good! I managed just under the 24 hour fast yesterday. My partner, Michael and I went food shopping beforehand!!! Not good - I was struggling by then and when we came home I put the dinner on straightaway (sausage casserole and some baked camembert) Weird combination right?? Lots of protein and veg. I didn't eat after the meal, no naughty snacks and slept ok until I had an episode of SVT. If you haven't heard of it, it's a benign heart condition which is pretty horrid when it occurs. I converted it back within minutes but it was scary as I'm now wondering if the stress of fasting triggered it. I've been taking magnesium for months now and this has had a really positive effect on the occurrence of this condition and I rarely experience it now. Actually, this time last year (well November) I had a breast lumpectomy for DCIS. I had to wait hours for the op, about 6 hours and in the meantime I was really stressing out. That bought on SVT in front of one of the consultants. They then tried to cancel my op that day in case I went into SVT. I refused to have it cancelled and it went fine but..... I'm feeling good today though and feel that the fast has had a positive effect on me. And as I mentioned in yesterday's post, I plan to introduce a beginner's version of this just after Christmas. Would love to hear your thoughts below - I do need feedback otherwise I won't know what you want!

Our bodies are so complicated and it is wonderful to feel ‘ just right ‘. I hope that the fasting plan works for you. The digestive system does need a rest and I know continuous eating is not good.

There is a lot to think about in relation to your video and my personal hopes and aspirations. Thank you for all the different problems that you have raised and thoughts for improvement in women’s health. Enjoy whatever you are doing 😎
