@Anthony Welles it got a little bit confusing why are they hanging up? Do you happen to have the truckers ready before you get the shipper or do you book the shipper cargo then find the driver if that makes sense lol please advise
Some important details when starting a business.
Hello everyone👏🏻, I've been compiling some of the most important notes Gill provided in the training course, especially regarding the initial steps. However, some details caught my attention concerning starting operations that some of you might overlook, so I decided to share them with you here: 1) Verifying our company's location. 2) Ensuring the carrier has service hours. 3) Checking the driver and the client. 4) Weather conditions are also important on the main route. 5) Complying with our transportation company's rules. 6) The importance of understanding the freight booking strategy in advance. And also some general notes: 1) The importance of the product/service offering you provide. 2) Understanding the customer avatar. 3) The importance of explaining your service to the company (showing the difference - the uniqueness). 4) Focusing on market needs. 5) Understanding company preferences. 6) Understanding the Department of Transportation (DOT) rules. 7) Determining the cargo weight according to the type of truck. I hope this is helpful to everyone. And if there are any opinions or additions, please don't hesitate to share them.👍🏻

@Harsimran Kaur I started creating my business plan and decided to focus on dry van transportation. For drivers did you go in person or made calls for your relationship with them? I think my biggest bump in the road will be tech I'm barley learning it.
