@Natalie Duncan YEEES! ๐Ÿธ Love ready this Frugal is where its at!!!
Got KUDOS for Bringing the FUN today!
TLDR: With EVERY human interaction you have, be yourself 100% of the time. You'll organically create more fans of you (your brand/your offer), and EVERYONE is better for it! -- Story time: I'm always myself, 100% human, just wanting to genuinely connect with other humans that I get to speak to. Today, in my 9-5 job (which I just started 3 weeks ago), a customer of mine gave me KUDOS for Bringing the FUN, and I was just being myself. This single interaction set the stage for my customer to start to get to know me, start to like me, and in no time, trust me with helping them. The scenario: -This was just a 30-minute intro meeting due to account management changes. -The two customers gave brief intros, a teammate gave a brief intro, and then it was my turn. -I gave a brief intro, but not in the typical boring way of, "Hi, I'm __, I'm married with kids, I've been working here for ___, and here's how I'll support you." -Instead, I connect the dots with them, immediately, so we find common ground. They had already shared with me where in the U.S. they work, and I had a way to connect with them - where I used to work (TOPGOLF). They were familiar with it, so I talked about that and shared my work responsibilities I had there so I could articulate how I've been in their seat before, know what it's like, what expectations usually are, etc. Now we have fun, common ground NOT work related but super fundamentally important to build. -Then, I shared a few notes on who I am, my background (but only as it pertains to them - why should they care about what I've done in the past?), and even that my kiddo is interested in their industry (a simple thing for them to remember about me since it's about them). -AND lastly - I used props. I shared a trophy I earned from the work world that demonstrated my knowledge, skills, and impact that they'll directly benefit from and then a book I'm reading that translates to being customer obsessed - genuine from a hospitality standpoint.

welp @Andrew Jules was right but I wear this as a badge of honor lmao. People outside think this group is spam but people inside know that we've had multiple live calls with 7-10+ people in it and we've made tonnes of deep friendships and that's what matters.
