Hi I researched this in Fidelity and found the following: "A recurring investment plan can be set up to transfer between $1 and $100,000 for stocks, ETFs, and baskets, and between $10 and $100,000 for mutual funds. Different funds may have different minimum investment requirements." So I understand this as I can set up fractional recurring auto investments for stocks, ETFs, and baskets (to participate in baskets is $4.99 a month, I'm not interested in buying baskets, that's too advanced for me, but anyway) I was able to automate small recurring fractional share investments in FTEC & ONEQ, but I am required to invest a minimum of $10 recurring in FSKAX because it is a mutual fund. However I can still purchase fractional shares of this outright once the funds are available to trade in my account. This is what I'll have to do in the meantime if I want to buy these types of investments until I advance into the big leagues lol 😆 I'm still playing in the pee wee league right now lol 🤣
