In case you missed yesterday's 12th House Classrooms sessions at 9am and 8pm, they are now posted in the CLASSROOM / THE HOUSES / 12TH HOUSE. Thanks to those who came. It went deep! My big takeaway from yesterday is that this house is not just the place where we retreat, nor is it just the 'unconscious mind' - it is so much richer. We touched on the juxtaposition between the 6th and 12th, the balance of reality versus imagination, the seen and unseen, and the idea of the void, the holding pattern, and the very real and purposeful reasons why this house gives us pause. Tomorrow, we'll be looking at our 12th house planets and our 12th house rulers. See you in class xxxx

The North Node has now moved into Aquarius, beginning an 18-month journey that shifts our attention towards community, technology, systems, belonging and our collective future. In this episode, I explain what the North and South Nodes actually are, why they always work as a polarity, and what we're being asked to learn as the North Node moves through Aquarius and the South Node through Leo. We also look back at previous North Node in Aquarius cycles—from the beginnings of European cooperation and the rise of environmental movements to the fall of the Berlin Wall, the World Wide Web, social media and the financial crash—to see the remarkable themes that repeat. At the heart of this cycle lies a tension between the individual and the collective: Leo's distortion says "I'm special," while Aquarius' distortion says "our group is morally superior." With Jupiter meeting the South Node and Pluto eventually meeting the North Node, questions around power, belief, technology, authority and who gets to shape the future could become increasingly important. Perhaps the medicine of this entire cycle is learning how to create communities that honour individuals, and individuals who meaningfully contribute to their communities. The Total Solar Eclipse in Leo arrives at an extraordinary turning point, with five exact planetary aspects converging as Pluto moves out of bounds and the astrology reaches a powerful crescendo. Rather than viewing this eclipse in isolation, I trace the journey from July's revelatory Aquarius Full Moon through this moment of reconstruction, and onwards towards the Pisces Lunar Eclipse and what I see as a coming crossing. The Sabian symbol and the stories of Lilith, Eris, Isis, Osiris and Hephaistos bring recurring themes of rejection, grief, sovereignty and the extraordinary creative power that can emerge when we begin putting ourselves back together. This Leo eclipse invites us to reclaim our place at the centre of our own lives, experiment with a new direction and begin constructing something different — even if our first attempts are imperfect. Revelation → Reconstruction → Crossing: this eclipse may be the moment when what we've recently discovered about ourselves finally begins to change the direction we're travelling.
