Lets Reflect
As we reach the end of our first themed month and the first full run through the framework, I'd love to hear your thoughts. What was your biggest win this month? What challenged you the most? What part of the framework helped you the most? What could be improved for next month? Is there anything you'd like to see included in future themed months? Every bit of feedback helps me make Sewing Boss even better. Thanks for being part of this first run. Answer below, or DM me 😊

And so our tshirt is complete! In this demo I show you how to sew - a neck band - a neck bind - the hem and what to do with the overlocking tail - and the importance of top stitching and pressing The camera angles are a little different as I was trying the webcam, but I am working on having two cameras so you can see more. I didn't realise the audio was funny while the machine was in use, so thats why my voice cuts out a few times. What can I say, this is a work in progress and I appreciate you all. I do disappear off camera to use the overlocker towards the end, but I promise I do come back 😆

I'm looking forward to seeing this when I've got the time.
Neatening seams
If you're in any sewing groups on FB you may have come across posts talking about sewing tshirts on overlockers/sergers and how the stitching can show on the wrong side. I mentioned it in the LIVE video the other day and explained how I always construct tshirts on the straight sewing machine first, then neaten on the overlocker. How do you do yours? Do you have any issues with the stitches showing on the right side if overlocking is your main construction method?

I'm currently away for hubby's birthday - I'm hoping to cut it out this weekend.
Sewing
I have a few things that I need to do but want to ask all of you for some help or ideas. Clothing items number one:I have two skirt slips that a bit to big for me what would be the best way to take them in, sew a new seam or put in elastic with a button on the side seams? Clothing item number two: I have two sets of legging that I need to bring up the hem on the legging to be so long, my idea is to pin it where I want them and the sew a new ham and then cut off the extra. What do you think? Clothing items number three I have a sweater dress that I do not wear so I was thinking about making it into a sweater/cartridge, any ideas or tips on how to do this?
