How to Create Your Company List
Thought I'd put this video together for anyone struggling to build out a list of potential targets: - Which software resulted in us generating meetings - How to create a broard list of companies to select - What filters to use to refine your results - How to further refine your results in a CSV https://vimeo.com/955953106/a67df2f5a2/ P.S. If you're not spending a good few days creating this list, you're doing it wrong!

@Elise Smith Yeah we manually verified all of the addresses. It's a pain, but you're investing so much time into it already, you may as well verify it's perfect.
How to Find The Right Contacts (pt 2.)
Quick video to show you how to find the right contacts in the company list you've produced. Takeaways: - DO NOT outsource this process - The only thing you should outsource is verifying the address is correct - Only choose contacts who have a valid phone number available - This will take time to put together (3 hrs I'd estimate) - You will get results if you put your blood, sweat and tears into this 'boring' task https://vimeo.com/957007501/7c58684f15/

Feedback on niche
Hey, Money Bags gang. @Jamie Woods and @Dan Wardrope. My money bags will arrive tomorrow(ish). I need to pick a niche and run (thanks for the nudge @Alan Cotter!). I'm considering roofing, solar, windows, siding, life insurance, mortgage. Any feedback before I get my list would be great. Also, is there a company size that's working? I would expect $5M-$20M, but I want to be able to get in touch with decision-makers. If not the owner for smaller companies, maybe sales managers, operations managers, etc. Thanks

Solar, Windows, Mortgages would be my recommendation. Focus on one niche, send 100 letters & stay with that niche for at least 3 runs of the campaign. You learn a lot by running the campaign and improve over time.

@Tom Buford company size differs for each niche, but we're going after a min of 50 employees - no max. Decision makers. That's it. Are they C Level decision makers who can get shit done. Worst case scenario is they read the letter, they don't want to deal with it, they pass it onto someone else within their team. Also, initial tests, whilst the list guys data is good. Where we've had better success is with using https://www.apollo.io/ Reason for this is you know your niche better and your target better. It just takes more time (days) to put the Apollo list together Vs the VA who will do it and it'll mostly be good data.
Oooh yeah! The river is about to burst
Inbound lead just came in. Scheduling the coffee date this week. 20 location ‘niche’ (sorry I can’t share!) What we have learnt so far 1. Spend a lot of time on the list… I mean a lot of time. 2. Be tenacious with the follow ups Will be posting later some learnings from my sales guy. Keep going peeps

List guy?
Hey Dan, any word on that guy who you said might help us with lists?

@Dan Wardrope It's too soon to say. Some of the data is good, and the numbers are correct. Other parts of the data includes office numbers which isn't ideal.

I suppose my best advice to anyone procurring a list would be to use multiple sources. - A few VAs - Leads rock (software) - Upwork / Fiver Split test everything
