How to address interactions with other dogs and owners on walks? A lot of time its close quarters (example kids pickup / drop off) and even when I step aside and put my dog in "place", other owners generally encourage their dogs to interact as they want the dogs to say "hi". I never know if I should let my dog interact as I trust my dog or not as never know how well mannered the other dog is or how observant the other owner is to their dog's behavior.
