Frustrating moments with Tradies.
Question for everyone... What's the biggest frustration you've had with a plumber(tradesman)? Plumbers:Don't defend the industry just yet. Read the answers first. Customers:Be honest. What annoyed you? Late arrivals? No communication?Unexpected invoices?Something else? Let's hear both sides.

@Ossie Osmond Some of it is just not really knowing how to make clear agreements and requests. Another part is that often times this is gig work or peace work or real one off that don't seem to require a bunch of talking. Like there's a toilet it's broken fix it. What I've learned in 40 years is that even the most minor things if not, really spelled out or stipulated can turn into major cluster fucks Listening to the client may be taking some notes saying back to the person exactly what you heard are invaluable in maintaining peace and customer satisfaction and LTV

Classroom additions.
Quick update for everyone in Plumbing Business Skool. I’ve just organized the Classroom so it’s easier to follow and actually use. Right now you’ll find: • Plumbing Business Blueprint (Start Here)• Foundations of a Plumbing Maintenance Business• Pricing, Customers, and Profit Thinking• Systems, Marketing, and Growth Structure (ongoing additions) This isn’t meant to be a “read everything and leave” type setup. It’s more of a working space where ideas get tested, discussed, and improved by plumbers in the field. If you’re in here, I’d actually like your input: - What stage are you at right now? - What’s the biggest challenge in your plumbing business? - What would you like to see added or broken down further? Also feel free to question anything in the Blueprint — that’s how it gets better. Looking forward to shaping this around real-world problems, not theory.

The most dangerous plumber in town!
Most plumbers think the answer is more work. More jobs. More hours. More stress. Sometimes the answer is actually: Better pricing. Better systems. Better customers. Busy doesn't always mean profitable. Have you ever been flat out busy and still wondered where the money went? Let's talk about it.

I’ve never been a plumber, but I have totally been in that space. Sometimes I think I’m kind of in that space now… Lol. But hell yes! Better systems better customers better pricing spot on.

The main thing is staying put and being consistent at this point… That's the biggest thing that's helping me at the moment.
