Just joined the community and I am really excited to be here. Amazon FBA has always interested me, especially the product research and supplier side of the business. It seems like that is where most of the success really starts. For those already doing FBA, what was the hardest part when you started, finding the right product or finding a reliable supplier? Would love to hear your experience.

My store before I started Amazon
I’m a single father of two amazing kids ages 7 and 9, and we’ve been living with my mom to make ends meet. For years, I was stuck in a grueling 6am to 9pm job – barely enough time for family, let alone myself. Then, out of nowhere, my boss hires someone new for my position, basically pushing me aside. It was a wake-up call. I started scouring online for better opportunities, feeling desperate but determined. That’s when I stumbled upon selling on Amazon. I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” No fancy degree or connections needed – just some research, a small investment in products, and hustle. Fast forward a few months: I’m now pulling in over $4,000 a week! It’s flexible, lets me be there for my kids’ school events, and has given us financial breathing room. From ramen nights to planning family vacations – what a turnaround! If you’re an Amazon seller (or thinking about starting), drop a comment below: What’s your biggest win so far? Any tips for sourcing products or scaling up? Newbies, what’s holding you back?

One thing I’ve noticed since starting my side hustle is that consistency matters way more than perfection. I almost quit before the first sales came in. If anyone here is still in the “nothing is working yet” phase — stick with it. Curious what stage everyone here is at?

Lately I’ve been reflecting on how much can change when you stop chasing “quick wins” and start building something boring… but consistent. My business didn’t suddenly explode overnight. It was a lot of testing, fixing small leaks, improving what already worked, and honestly ignoring most of the noise online. Once I focused on one model and doubled down on systems instead of motivation, things started to compound. At this point it’s doing around $30k monthly, and what surprised me most isn’t even the number — it’s how predictable things became once the foundation was right. Less stress, fewer random pivots, more clarity on what actually moves the needle. I’m sharing this here because I know a lot of people in this community are either stuck in the “almost working” phase or overwhelmed by too many strategies at once. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that progress usually looks boring before it looks impressive. Curious to hear how others here are structuring what they’re building right now — especially what you’ve stopped doing that made the biggest difference.
