Dr. Weir, I plan on applying for my SS benefits starting in January 2027, which is my FRA year, however my FRA month is August 2027. I'm a 1099 NEC worker full time and I'm scheduled to make $134,400 for the year 2027. I know once I reach my FRA month the earnings limit goes away. My question is: How does the SS Administration know how much I make from January through July of 2027?
